Ya know, if so many Catholics on this forum (many who are so much more devout and knowledgeable than myself) were telling me the same things repeatedly in charity, I think I would eventually have to stop and re-examine the way I am thinking and behaving. I would have to wonder whether they were all crazy nit-picking "control freaks" , or maybe, - just possibly- I was being pigheaded and stubbornly attached to my own ideas rather than correct Catholic teaching. But, hey, that's just me...

Ok- then,  So... What do you consider the Church's true teachings? Would it be the quotes from Popes, saints, Doctors of the Church, cannon law? (Many of which have been provided for you by members in regards to your comments on a variety of subjects)  Or are you simply Sola Scriptura,  interpreting it for yourself -trusting in your own 'common-sense' understanding-  rather than in keeping with the Magisterium?
PS-Since you are an avid Trump supporter I think you would be  aware of the 'Fake News' phenomenon, so "what looks like/sounds like truth"  is often just catch-phrases and 'spin'. That makes it necessary to delve deeper and not be satisfied with a superficial glance and flippant dismissal.
