Title: Ha!
Post by: Catholic Samurai on March 02, 2010, 06:45:06 PM
My mom just did 10 minutes of research on the Tea Party's website to see who they endorsed and headed off to the polls just now. She's voting "straight homeschooler"... whatever the heck that means. She didnt even look at the list of judges. And I know that is ALL the political research she has done to make her decision. This is why I dont believe in Republics... the people are too lazy to research their candidates and they let other (paid) people investigate for them.

I used to have a clue about who was running because I either watched TV, or after that, listened to the radio (which was even better because of the greater focus on local politics). Now, I don't have a clue and therefore didn't go to vote.

Did you?

No. I plan to, but not now. Im still doing careful research when I have time because I need to see ALL the candidates and positions up for grabs. The election is in the fall so I still have time. My parents obviously didnt tell me about the polls today because they KNOW what I think and they KNOW how I'll vote and have NO intention of assisting me in doing so (transportation etc). They just listen to the talk radio shows (Glen Beck, Sean Hannity, Limbaugh and other @*******) and make their choices accordingly. They always have and always will vote according to what the political pimps say. And she's voting for Perry... AGAIN.
