Title: Growing number of bills requiring fetal development education are becoming law
Post by: Geremia on August 10, 2025, 06:04:09 PM
Quote from: Butrymowicz, Sarah. “The New Anti-Abortion Strategy: Fetal Development Videos in Schools.” The Hechinger Report, August 5, 2025.
Growing number of bills requiring fetal development education are being introduced — and signed into law
Since 2023, when North Dakota passed the nation's first fetal development education law, dozens anti-abortion legislators have sponsored similar bills.

SIECUS:  Sex Information and education council of the United States is no good! They are Planned Parenthood and U.N., A.C.L.U., Playboy Porn, National Council of churches  U.S. Catholic Conference and more and that was the spider web of SIECUS in 1981

Guttmacher Institute is a wing of Planned Barrenhood as well.
(Sorry, I accidentally 👎ed your post, and I can't change it.)

This is very dangerous, these bills.  It should be in every state, no sex education.  The federal gov't grants are changing words and phrases.  This another attempt, since 1987 or so, to bring sex education into schools.  Here in AZ, it was in the state laws, no sex education( even abstaince based education was a way to wiggle their way in.)  Even then, sex education made its way into parochial and private schools, for they don't answer to the state, BUT, they are to answer to God.  Instead they answered to $$$. This happened in 1987, for I read federal grants.

So, who put these states up to these bills??

I don't trust trump.  He may stop federal grant $$, no, he does not stop, he re routes it.  He is not pro-life.  He rerouted $$ to Susan B. Anthony for an example. They claim they are pro-life, they are not.  They can not stop contraceptives/abortion pill, and can not stop the so-called education of sterilization which is #1 birth control.

Remedy: take your kids out of the public schools!

Yes, sex-ed isn't Catholic (Divini Illius Magistri (https://www.vatican.va/content/pius-xi/en/encyclicals/docuмents/hf_p-xi_enc_31121929_divini-illius-magistri.html) §65):
Quote from: Pope Pius XI
65. Another very grave danger is that naturalism which nowadays invades the field of education in that most delicate matter of purity of morals. Far too common is the error of those who with dangerous assurance and under an ugly term propagate a so-called sex-education, falsely imagining they can forearm youths against the dangers of sensuality by means purely natural, such as a foolhardy initiation and precautionary instruction for all indiscriminately, even in public; and, worse still, by exposing them at an early age to the occasions, in order to accustom them, so it is argued, and as it were to harden them against such dangers.

So how are parents supposed to educate their children on reproduction?

Uh... take care of that responsibility THEMSELVES?

Some duties you can't farm out to the government to take care of.

I suspect he just wasn't distinguishing sex-ed in general from non-parental-sex-ed, which is what the Pope was referring to.

my friend's wife literally said no one taught it to her and she barely figured out sex ed stuff at 22 years of age..
Parents are the lazy-but-i-had-more-than-6-kids type.

So how are parents supposed to educate their children on reproduction?
By their example, primarily, how the husband and wife treat one another. If they're accepting all the children God sends them, the mother being pregnant should be enough of a "sex-ed" for them.

Parents need to teach their children age-appropriate information about where babies come from. It's not one big talk. A little information when Mom is pregant and a little more before their bodies start changing. I had an ill-informed cousin who, at 16, was extremely upset that she may be pregnant (because she had allowed a boy to kiss her.)

Sounds like she initiated the conversation with her mother and that she has a trusting relationship with her. 👍

That would be nice, but did not happen. To get back to the OP, it's good for people to understand that babies in the womb are human beings. Many still beleive the lie spread by the baby-haters that the unborn baby is a "blob." This issue is separate from the so-called "sex-ed" in the schools which is an attack on innocence. SEICUS's origins are entwined with known pedophiles. This is detailed in a book called Kinsey, Sex and Fraud: The Indoctrination of a People.
