US government will force us if we don't fight to pay for healthcare that endorses abortion, birth control, and streilization..they will even force catholic dioseses etc

It's not surprising at all, really.

What is a bit surprising though, is to see all these Bishops suddenly cry foul over this when they sure didn't seem to mind Obama being elected beforehand. I am 99.9% sure that the bishop of my diocese (who is now retired, but was bishop during the 2008 election) prefered Obama. Most bishops seemed to. Liberalism has sunk its teeth into the Church, and the liberals are doing everything in their power to completely liberalize Catholicism and to eventually destroy it, whether it's those from the outside of the Church (Obama) or the inside (Benedict and all the liberal Cardinals and bishops).

It's interesting to see that David Axelrod is now asking infuriated Catholics and the US bishops to "lower their tone, please", or something like that. Is this the administration telling the Church to shut up and live with it or are they just now realizing that they stepped in it?

"Shhhhh. Be quiet. There's an election this year and we weren't expecting to catch hell over this. Um...let's see if we can work this out, huh?"

I have a feeling the latter may be true and that this backlash has taken them by surprise. It wouldn't surprise me that this White House should be so clueless, however, as to take such an idiotic action; it's run by kids, after all. Most of the people who surround this president are very young...way too young to be where they are, in fact. I'm not talking about cabinet secretaries, here, but about about all the young twentysomethings that he surrounds himself with in the West Wing.

This is a goofy White House (to put matters charitably). If this guy manages to get himself re-elected, his opponent ought to slither under a rock in shame.

Would you consider it unbelievable if you were told that All dioceses support Abortion, birth control. ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity and more!! If the dioceses supports any organizations under United Way which is CCHD and (so-called) catholic charities, would that shock you! It is true. The US Bishops also support Sex Education in the United States known at Seicus. This is old news! Komen is just one! Planned Parenthood hides in Domestic Violence for example and many more. Any state organizations and state phone numbers in ST Vincent De Paul or your so-called catholic hospital? Your Dept. of health services support these immoralities. Next time you see a dioceses paper, check it out! I found out late, in 1995 in AZ. I read more to find out the CAtholic organizations, no longer are and we give out monies to state and county and United Way. The dioceses work with the federal gov't and grants and such. For every $1, feds give $3. for their agendas. Would it surprise you that Teen Pregnancy prevention taught to the Catholic teens teaches the agendas of Planned Parenthood from condoms to contraceptives. Check out your organizations and see who supports them, where their money comes from. When I proved it for myself, it helped to push our family into the traditional church to find out Truth once more. This means that New Order is pro-abort, pro-ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ which means New Order is anti-family! Any Bishop of New Order who says he is pro-life see where the money goes and where it is coming from! You will know them from their fruits! Remember, Planned Parenthood is not the only one who supports abortion and such, there are many who support from banks, grocery stores, and it would be easier to say who doesn't. If you have your money in stocks to make money, check it out. Check out you insurance. Pray!!

While the Church in the US is known to be liberal, in other places like say, Africa, where the pressure to cave is obviously even more, the Church does a better job in resisting evil. But seriously, why do Bishops have the power of excommunication and the Keys if they will do nothing, absolutely nothing, to nominal Catholics in public office or in the HHS, including Sebellius and others who persist in grave sin and have the audacity to impose their lawlessness on the Church?

Even the current canon law authorizes them to do precisely this, and at the least restrict these individuals from receiving the Holy Eucharist, as Our Lord said, "Do not give that which is holy to dogs". Do nothing and you deserve to be trampled upon. There is nothing more disgusting than being effeminate before a radical secularist government.
