It may be off-topic, but the Beck statement does remind me of one by Mother Teresa.

ITS SATANIC! Stop with the tip-toeing and CALL IT FOR WHAT IT IS. A false religion is just that..from the devil. What ever can carry someone away from the True Faith is from the devil. Popes and saints can account for that, from the life of the Church since Her inception.
