sorry, but we are talking in this thread about Beck and Mormonism, not the one topic of SVism.....can something not be about that topic?????

also, Myrna, we know you have defended and expressed admirition for Beck in the past.....why you are diverting now to V2

does anyone here-regular posters mind you-defend V2?? not to my knowledge..there are copious posts on V2, B16,etc.....

again, lets stay on topic,that of Beck, his words,actions and Mormonism which plays large roll of informing/shaping him (esp AMerica worship, which is HUGE with Mormons).

ifanyone want to discuss V2, B16, heresy, modernism,etc,etc-again, there are 1000's of threads here at CI for that.....B16, for good or bad, does not subvert and shaping Catholic thinking here in USA near as much as the Neo-conmen.....B16 is irrelevant unless it is there hot button topic (world loooved JP2 unless he spoke out against abortion, contraception, then they ignored him or hammer/tongs type response....Jp2 spoke on subversion of 3rd world by NWO/WTO/IMF, the liberals came out in droves :applause: him....same with NeoCaths, they love anti-abortion talk of JP2, but ignore or attack his stances on economics, 3rd world as noted above,etc-the "free" market,war mongering takes 1st place for them over Just war, etc,etc..)

There was an animated docuмentary on the doctrines of Mormonism that I posted some years ago. I tried to find it again, but Youtube removed it. Anyway, basically it showed that Mormon's believe:

*That they are decended from a god, who is also decended from a god.
*That all the god's were men who attained godhood
*That Jesus and satan were brothers who quarreled over who would rule the earth for their father.
*That the Blacks are devils incarnate.
*That the merits of Jesus Christ at the Crucifixion are insufficient for salvation and needed to be supplemented by the "martyrdom" of their founder Joseph Smith.
*That the end of man is to attain godhood at death, and with his wife/wives continually have sex and produce (for eternity) an infinite number of celestial offspring who will worship them.
*They believe in God the Father and Jesus Christ, but not the Holy Ghost (doesn exist), but rather Joseph Smith as the 3rd person of the HolyTrinity.

And that's not all. There is obviously more. But that's just a brief summary of what they believe.

Having said that, who cares who thinks what about Benedict XVI when you have an influential figure like Beck believing all of this?!?! I would say he is either a Freemason or mentally unstable considering the doctrine, wouldn't you agree?

agree, Mormons also teach that :devil2: is the brother to Christ, hence, God had 2 children..when in fact, :devil2: is a created being......

I don't listen to Beck for his religious views. I listen because I think he is the only one who is telling the truth about things. He also touches on things no other news commentator will touch. He also has a good way of explaining things.

The fact is that Glenn Beck knows what he is talking about when it comes to government, but unforetunetly lacks in knowledge when it comes to religion. Jesse Ventura is the same way. He gets what's going on in the government yet is an atheist (which is somewhat surprising considering most atheists are flaming libs who love the government). He recently compared God to the tooth fairy and Santa Claus. Beck and Ventura both are extremely naive when it comes to religion.

Jeff Rense is another one! Hes a fallen away Catholic that has only disdain for the church! None of them can see that the true battle going on today is a spiritual battle between Christ and Antichrist for souls.

I agree. And I like the clips he shows. He seems to be able to back up a lot of what he says. He must be doing something right or he wouldn't have the popularity he has.
