I think he's more interesting and entertaining than Rush or Hannity. Beck brings a different non-GOP establishment view to things and he has a great sense of humor and ability to build dramatic effect. Hannity is a broken record and Rush bloviates for 3 hours.

I fail to see what's so interesting about a guy who yells for an hour about the same stuff and doesn't speak the full truth (FOX News only gives half the truth, maybe not even that much). And you do realize you're sticking up for a Mormon over a Catholic (Hannity) right?

I think Bishop Sheen himself was only telling half-truths, if that. It's one thing to go along with Vatican II in a state of confusion, it's another to get on TV and rave excitedly about John XXIII opening the windows of the Church to communists. I have posted a link to that video several times.

Yet Catholics still love Bishop Sheen -- the connection, I think, is American patriotism, because no European Catholic has much to say about Bishop Sheen. I'm convinced Bishop Sheen is a "Cold War" figure beloved by those who drank the American Kool-Aid and demonize Russia while worshipping their own psychotic, Satanic government. Glenn Beck is the same but a more degraded version. Fifty years down the line, it is hard to pretend even for the most blind that America is in any way pleasing to God, yet there are those who still desperately want to believe it. That is the only explanation for how some of us can see an obvious Zionist propaganda-meister while others are taken in.

Patriotism and national pride are Catholic and positive ideals. Nothing wrong with them as long as we also respect other nationalities, etc.

It is interesting to me how one could bypass the obvious reasons Abp. Sheen was loved and still is loved. The man eloquently and beautifully explained Catholic teaching and about Jesus Christ in a captivating and insightful way. The man had a gift for preaching and communication and is emulated by many Catholic priests today. He had a deep devotion, faith, personal piety, and wisdom. His words resonated with people.

Abp. Sheen was an ardent anti-communist and spoke vehemently against its evils all his life. To try to publicly find fault with a popular Catholic figure because he was popular seems to me a bad use of time.

Patriotism and nationalism are good if the nation is Catholic. Not "Christian", not "Protestant", not "Zionist" but Catholic.
For that reason to be true patriots we should declare sovereignity from the United States of Israel and form a Catholic monarchy.
