General Keane: don't understand WH plan to dis-arm [sorry, I meant to say GOOD guys] in Syria

General Keane reflected my own thoughts on this: WHY are we planning to no longer supply arms to the Syrians, presumably this means those who are against Assad?

Just b/c Russia wants us to? Well, if this indicates that the US is taking over for those Syrians, fighting their battles, then I say OK. But I have not heard that that is the case. I can see why people in general do not diligently and frequently follow the news. Things can be complicated (wrold affairs, etc) to the point where you just don't even understand... and if you don't understand, can't follow a particular story on the news, the tendency is to just shrug your shoulders and go do soemthing you do understand: mow the grass, get a part time night job, spend more time with your kids or whatever. Maybe that kind of neglect of current events will lead to losers becoming president (b/c you don't campaign for or support the right candidate or whatever), like what happened in 2008 and 12 but... hey, whatever---------

  • i guess the deal is that the CIA program was costing too much money with very little results to show for it. So that makes sense. But again, i wish news stories could be more detailed (although: Did we really need the entire event, the commissioning of that ship to be shown on the news? I don't know)

Forces militating against civilization (ISIS, al Queda) would seem to be more important as pertains to the issue of (news folks providing us wit)h more detail. One detail we would all like to know is: Are we not supporting the Syrian rebels anymore? Or is it jus that CIA program that is being ditched? I would love to have more time to watch the news. Bt I watch a few hours every day. Maybe I have attention deficit disorder or soemthing?
