I found this article on the Eponymous Flower website today. It describes death threats to Tɾυmρ, and that's why he may have hurried out of DC. Tɾυmρ's family members may have been threatened as well.

I can't imagine that Trump didn't receive hundreds of death threats a day, many credible and even conspiratorial within the ranks. Why are these different?
