  • MRC TV) Donna Brazile, ex-chairperson of the Democratic National Committee in the 2016 presidential campaign, published an article in Politico admitting that the DNC was rigging the system for Hillary Clinton.

Arguably, the biggest bombshell in the report was that Hillary Clinton’s campaign entered into a fundraising deal with the DNC that allowed her to control much of its operations, essentially undercutting Bernie Sanders’ chances of a fair primary run.
Under the leadership of former DNC chairperson Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the DNC was in crippling debt upwards to about $24 million after the Obama administration left. Donors had maxed out their $2,700 contribution limits, which led the Hillary campaign to take over the party’s funds before she even won the primary.

Brazile’s report comes after she admitted earlier this year to sharing debate questions with the Clinton campaign. Although she admitted to the collusion, her newest revelation makes it out to seem as though she was some kind of innocent bystander to all of the foul play.

Brazile had this to say about the DNC’s collusion to help the Clinton campaign:
“If the fight had been fair, one campaign would not have control of the party before the voters had decided which one they wanted to lead. This was not a criminal act, but as I saw it, it compromised the party’s integrity.”
“Had I known this, I never would have accepted the interim chair position, but here we were with only weeks before the election…”
