Request: Ukraine events timeline

  • Can somebody please be so kind to provide a timeline or summary of events that led to the current conflict in Ukraine? Or whatever that sheds some light.

Because obviously I don't trust the mainstream media's version of the story, and some of us here were oblivious to what happened before this, and don't know where to start looking for the truth.

So far I know (vaguely) that the Big Brothers overthrew the previous Ukrainian Prime Minister (?) and installed one of their own, or something like that. And that Putin is not the devil as the media wants us to believe. Forgive my ignorance.

    Much appreciated!

  • Ukraine events timeline?  Easier said than done.

You need to go back to the formation of modern-day Ukraine in 1991 upon its withdrawal from the Soviet Union, it's overall territorial demographics (e.g., western Ukraine is still very Polish-speaking, while the eastern part is almost all Russian-speaking, with Kyiv sort of a mix in the middle), the "Orange Revolution" of 2005, it's flawed and corrupt political system (e.g., its treatment of Yulia Tymoshenko), the skirmishes and battles it's been having with Russian separatists/Russians beginning in 2014, etc.

    It's no simple task.

  • Also, anyone know of a good news source as events unfold? So far I’ve been reading comments by Russians on YouTube channels like RT and they have a much different take on what is happening.

They probably have the true perspective. For example, the ethnic Russians in Ukraine would like to be OUT FROM UNDER the US-led puppet government of Ukraine. They've been trying to separate. I bet the Ukrainian puppet government has been oh-so-nice to these separatists. Putin is just finally intervening. About time!

    In regards to the bolded:

It is probably per Soviet defectors and other sources that the East plans to blame the West for everything and accede in world power. If we consider the democratization of the Soviets to be false, then the Russian and Chinese alliance makes more sense. The common people lose faith in their Western governments and accept the Eurasian/multipolar world order, in opposition to the probably fake Alex Jones NWO.

There is probably flexibility to this plan, but thinking Putin is good is setting yourself up for deception. The Eastern and Western governments are controlled and operated by the enemy. What we are seeing is just a controlled demolition in continuation of the narrative, not an organic process.

  • 2014 ... Obama / US / West / CIA (aka Jєωs) overthrew the pro-Russian government and installed Western puppets.

That puppet government immediately started attacking the Russian populations in the East of Ukraine.  Jєωs as per usual drew up borders that split various populations off from their true ethnic ties (they've done this over and over again), so you had Russians who were basically stranded in Eastern Ukraine.

Crimea (also mostly Russian) voted to separate from Ukraine and rejoin Russia, and Putin recognized this.

Putin tried to aid those populations in East Ukraine and worked the Minsk agreements in early 2015, but the Ukrainian government never kept it and have been attacking the Eastern Russians ever since.

In the meantime, NATO keeps adding new members moving East and encroaching upon Russia including offering to let Ukraine join, thus having NATO right up against Russia's borders.

Between the continuing attacks on the Russian populations in East Ukraine and the refusal of NATO to back away from Russia's borders, and constant hostile rhetoric from the West (for no real reason), Putin finally declared the Eastern Ukrainian populations to be independent republics and quickly signed mutual aid agreements with their representatives.

So Putin sent in "peacekeeping troops" at the request of those populations, and so from his perspective there was no invasion of Ukraine but coming to the aid of an ally at their request.

Probably smelling retaliation coming through Ukraine, Putin then moved to take out the Ukrainian military (including possibly bioweapons labs funded by the US and a secrete nuclear arms stash hidden at Chernobyl).  Reports are that he effectively neutralized them in about 90 minutes.

US propaganda has him "invading" Ukraine (rather than making limited defensive operations) and bombing civilians.  Putin is not attacking civilian targets although there undoubtedly have been civilians killed by now with all the military activity.

I too would like a good news source.  The only one I can think of might be the Ron Paul Liberty Report, but they're not exactly a news source but maybe more of a commentary.

Perfect summary, Lad. Saved me some time! Exactly what I believe right now, with no tweaks at all. I was trying to say this earlier, about Putin defending the Russians there, etc. But you've brought in exact facts and dates, which is awesome.

    "What he said".

This is about as close to the truth as a person could come at this time -- with publicly available information -- without having access to secret meeting rooms of the Elites.

  • Here's a transcript of Putin's speech the other day.  There's not a lot one can disagree with in here ... apart from his globalist bent (appealing to the UN) and his labelling of the right-wing Ukrainians as nαzιs (but he's using those as propaganda).

This piece from his speech is interesting.
    Quote
Properly speaking, the attempts to use us in their own interests never ceased until quite recently: they sought to destroy our traditional values and force on us their false values that would erode us, our people from within, the attitudes they have been aggressively imposing on their countries, attitudes that are directly leading to degradation and degeneration, because they are contrary to human nature. This is not going to happen. No one has ever succeeded in doing this, nor will they succeed now.

Here he's talking about things like sodomy and trans-generism as "contrary to nature" (which almost sounds like he's alluding to the theological term).
