  • Putin is a Jєω—docuмents from the president’s biography confirm rumours
    Posted on May 18, 2021

Putin’s alleged nationality card shows that his mother is Jєωιѕн. It is highlighted with a red box. It reads “/Евр./” at the end of her name, which is an abbreviation for the Russian word for Jєω: Еврей.

    Translated from the Russian
    Vasilisa1210.ru

Russian President Vladimir Putin – half-Jєωιѕн by nationality on the mother’s side – such sensational data were published by a number of domestic and foreign media outlets. In support of this fact, the publication cites a docuмent – an application for the issuance of a new passport of the citizen of Russia Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, dated December 30, 2000, which indicates the nationality of the parents. According to official data, the father of the current president, Putin, Vladimir Spiridonovich, is Russian by nationality, and the mother of the head of state, Maria Ivanovna Shelomov, is listed as Jєωιѕн (Евр.).
Putin at the age of 6 with his mother Maria Ivanovna Shelomova in 1958:

Of course, these personal facts from the biography of the country’s first person will remain secret, given that President Shelomov’s mother Maria Ivanovna died in 1998, and Putin’s father Vladimir Spiridonovich died in 1999. Nevertheless, as you know, the historical origin of the surname Shelomov comes from the Jєωιѕн male name Shlomo (in Russian Salomon). The end of the surname in -ov means belonging – that is, Shelomov is translated as the son of Solomon. And as we all know, Solomon (Shlomo) was the most revered Jєωιѕн king, who was considered the wisest of all people and who rebuilt the Second Temple. Another small detail – according to Jєωιѕн laws, a Jєω is considered one who is born of a mother – Jєωιѕн by nationality and nothing else.

Let’s see the “personal card” of Mordkho Abelevich, who was registered at the Vitebsk Investigation Department. Such “personal files” were brought up to members of the “Bund” who participated in the 9th conference of the General Jєωιѕн Workers’ Union in 1912.

There are still no official docuмents confirming the relationship of Vladimir Vladimirovich with Blinchikov, but the face itself is present. The notorious Jєωιѕн factor. As one of our journalists said, if you look closely, you can see “Jєωιѕн ears” behind all the global events taking place in the world.

    Jєωιѕн roots of Vladimir Putin
The magazine “Profile” puts forward the following version of the origin of the Putin family. According to pre-war photographs that accidentally ended up in the magazine, Putin’s family tree was restored to Putin’s grandmother and grandfather. According to this information, Putin’s grandmother married a second time to Vladimir Dmitrievich Pechersky in 1960. According to the recollections of his second wife Anna Pecherskaya, Putin’s grandmother was an accountant either at school or in the village council, and her future husband Pechersky was the son of a parish priest in Chufalovo, Yaroslavl region. Pecherskaya does not give her real name, but, like her husband, calls her Lyalya. “Lyalya was pretty, a real angel” with noble urban manners and was noticeably different from the village girls.

Putin’s great-grandfather served as a traveling salesman and sold Singer sewing machines. Putin’s great-grandmother was a certified midwife who graduated from medical school and had the right to private practice, but her daughter Lyalya did not have a higher education. Lyalya studied financial courses and graduated from school immediately after the revolution. The first husband of Putin’s grandmother left her with a child, disappointed in love. “Profile”, although it does not draw historical parallels, writes that the real name of Lyalya was Rasputin, and after the change of dignity, the secular name was changed. Later, “so that the ministers of the monastery did not have bad associations, her husband entered the monastery book as Putin.” From Chufalov, Yaroslavl region, where Putin’s grandmother married her second husband, she moved with him to Kokand, then to Fergana, then to Rostov the Great. But, tired of eternal travel, she left Pechersky and married the Jєω Epstein (he took his wife’s surname), who adopted Vova Putin, Putin’s father. Thus, Vladimir Putin is a Jєω by his grandfather. Yes, and not even native. Although Epstein.
The electronic newspaper Petersburg News wrote that,

    Quote
“Putin has already said that Jєωs have long aroused sympathy in him, and he recalls with joy how he grew up in a communal apartment in Baskov Lane among Jєωιѕн neighbors, the sweetest and most pleasant people.”
It is quite possible that these were not neighbors, but relatives. Jєωιѕнness was not a fact that they liked to advertise. Naturally, Little Johnny Putin tried to forget about his Jєωιѕн roots.

Putin’s presence at the opening of the Center for Jєωιѕн Culture and his congratulations on Rosh Hashanah added fuel to the fire of supporters of the “Jєωιѕн version” of the president’s origin. Putin himself has kept a guerrilla silence, not commenting on these assumptions. A number of journalists have long noted President Putin’s markedly respectful relationship with representatives of the Jєωιѕн community, the official events of which in Moscow the head of state visits repeatedly. Moreover, as you know, Vladimir Putin has always tried to build trusting relationships with the political leaders of Israel and in almost every public speech to call the Jєωs of Israel a fraternal people. In particular, in fact, with the coming to power of Putin in 1999, Russia’s policy towards Israel has sharply changed from a negative side to a positive one. Although many decades before that, Israel was several times on the verge of clashes with the USSR, which all these years actively supported the Arab countries and regimes surrounding Israel politically and with the supply of weapons.

    "Authoritarians love smart cities projects.
Vladimir Putin is no exception. Moscow has been on a mission to become a smart city for the last decade. Russia’s capital has around 200,000 surveillance cameras. That’s more cameras per square mile than in Beijing or New York. In October 2021, the Moscow Metro launched a facial recognition payment system. Branded as a quick, contactless way of paying ride fares, it was also used for surveillance. Since September 2020, almost 3,000 criminals have been caught in the Moscow Metro because of the system, according to city authorities. But the extreme crackdown on dissent triggered by the war in Ukraine makes Moscow’s technological advances terrifying for anyone who opposes the government.
Since the start of war in Ukraine, speaking out against the government has become incredibly risky for the Russians. Over 15,000 people have been detained for protesting and anyone who does as little as sharing a social media post that contradicts the official position risks a 15-year prison sentence.
FacePay, which has worried digital rights activists, could make the whole of the city especially dangerous for those who oppose the invasion of Ukraine. There is a precedent: a few months prior in February participants of mass protests in support of Russian opposition leader Alexey Navalny were being arrested in the underground and in their own homes. Authorities accessed their data through the citywide facial recognition system.
“‘Smart’ cities are also by definition surveillance cities,” said Ella Jakubowska, Policy Advisor at European Digital Rights (EDRi) network. “The same sensors, cameras and devices that are rolled out to monitor environments, traffic, and many other hundreds of parameters can often be repurposed to surveil individuals at the touch of a button or the tweak of an algorithm.”

Russia is implementing the UN's (Lucifer Trust) Sustainable Development Goals:

The Russian Federation is committed to achieve the goals defined by the international community in the 2030 Agenda. We have been making continued efforts to implement the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the national level.

The ISO 37120 standard takes into account most of the indicators that reflect the city's commitment to achieving the UN (Lucifer Trust)  Sustainable Development Goals - from the efficiency of resources use to the level of urban infrastructure and urban management systems development. Standardization provides a unified approach to assessing the quality of life.

Russia is building the Digital Twin surveillance grid.

    It's worldwide.

Below are some excerpts I've copied from this docuмent:

    MOSCOW INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
    Merging Reality and VR:
How Does a Smart City Work?

Digital ID with digital permits and digital medical records etc.

    Healthcare

Unified healthcare information and analytics system
    Electronic appointment desk
    Electronic medical records
Pilot projects for early detection of emerging tumors and potential stroke occurrence through neural networks

"Vaccination results are stored in digital medical record and are available to healthcare professionals stationed in education institutions, personal doctors in polyclinics and patients themselves. If needed, a doctor can prescribe vaccination digitally; after that, the patient goes to the vaccination room without any papers to get their shots. That is also reflected in the digital system."

"Urban services also support the trend for additional devices. So, users of health applications that are integrated with smart watches, bracelets and other gadgets can synchronize the data received with the electronic medical record via UMIAS.INFO application. Today more than 1.3 million citizens use the medical record with the UMIAS.INFO mobile application. They made over 96 million entries in the Health Diary section of their electronic medical records. Whereas, more than 90 percent of them were entered automatically using mobile devices synchronized with smart gadgets."

Smart street light, bike sharing and blockchain: Moscow chooses the world’s best smart projects

Digitalisation is one of the key factors affecting the quality of the urban environment: this includes the development of artificial intelligence and the IoT (Internet of Things), and working with big data and predictive analytics.  (That's pre-crime y'all)

“The research on smart cities showed that Moscow is developing in the right direction: the introduction of the Moscow Electronic School (MES), Integrated  Medical Information and Analytical System (IMIAS), video surveillance, digital government services, free citywide Wi-Fi, plus the development of the sharing economy and pilot projects carried out in various areas of municipal infrastructure exemplify this,” said Eduard Lysenko, Head of Moscow’s Department of Information Technology.

"To enhance security and improve the environmental situation in the city, experts make forecasts. Preventing adverse situations is another important area...create a single platform for collecting, monitoring, controlling and processing data which will be able to provide instant warnings and alerts, and which will expedite emergency services during the elimination of emergency situations’ consequencies...using drones to respond to emergency situations."

"E-government should be able to provide electronic services and introduce blockchain technology with them."

Moscow citizens can apply for a digital permit. Starting this Wednesday, 15 April 2020, everyone will be obliged to have a permit to move around Moscow and the Moscow region on either personal vehicles or public transport. Permit is a special alphanumeric code issued free of charge.

Applying for the digital permit, choose one of the following:

    — Worker’s digital permit;

    — One-time trip permit to a healthcare facility;

    — One-time trip permit for other purposes.

    It's not just Moscow:

"Large Russian cities are actively developing projects in the spheres of health protection, education, waste disposal, information collection, and monitoring [5]. Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Kazan are considered at the “Smart City 3.0” [6] stage of development."

    Russian government controls biometric database:

Russian authorities have assigned “state system” status to the country’s uniform biometric database (UBS). The system aims to confirm identity in online banking and primarily consisted of bank clients’ facial images and voice samples. The new status (established on December 30) might appear to be a formality — in fact, it shows that the government is seizing ever-more control over biometric data of everyone resident in Russia. This carries serious risks for their rights.
For years, the Russian government has been exploring the potential of biometrics for surveillance and monitoring. Since at least 2017, the authorities have been using cameras with facial recognition technology in public places to identify and prosecute peaceful protesters — a practice that is only increasing. And during the pandemic, facial recognition technology was used to track and fine those violating the self-isolation rules.
Now that the country’s primary biometric database is fully under government control, the authorities can seek to corral people into handing over their data, expand the types and uses of such data, as well as filter out and take over commercial databases.

    Wait!   He's been cleansed.

Here's more evidence of his conversion.

Goals of (Lucifer Trust) sustainable development should serve national state’s interests — UN official

On Wednesday at a plenary session of Russian Energy Week, Russia's president said that Russia would strive to achieve carbon neutrality no later than 2060

MOSCOW, October 14. /TASS/. Achieving goals of sustainable development should serve the national interests of states and do not damage the socio-economic situation, Director-General of the United Nations at Geneva (UNOG) Tatiana Valovaya reported on Thursday at the plenary session of the conference on (Lucifer Trust) Sustainable Development and ESG (Social Credit Score) Transformation (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance — TASS).

"In order to achieve goals of sustainable development, all countries, all regional branches should realize that the implementation of these goals serves its national, economic and social agenda," she said.

The official called Russian President Vladimir Putin’s statement that the country will seek after carbon neutrality by 2060 revolutionary. "This is a decision which both the UN and the entire community have looked forward to," She stressed.

Valovaya also called upon the countries to think of how to transform the economy ensuring both carbon neutrality and economic development.

Putin said on Wednesday at a plenary session of Russian Energy Week that Russia would strive to achieve carbon neutrality no later than 2060. It refers to the amount of carbon dioxide emissions equaling the volumes absorbed by the oceans and forests.

The first Russian Open International Conference on Sustainable Development and ESG Transformation is being held on Thursday in Moscow’s MGIMO University as a part of the 13th Russian International Studies Association Convention (RISA) "Thirty Years of the New Russia’s Foreign Policy".

    • The financial Great Reset is not one big worldwide overhaul under a totalitarian government with a despotic world leader--despite Klaus Schwab's audition for the role. :P

It's decentralized and local.  It's getting built with project after project in churches, schools, businesses, neighborhoods and towns worldwide by SOCIAL IMPACT INVESTORS.

It's a public private partnership.  Stakeholder Capitalism.

The venture capitalists (Social Impact Investors) invest in "projects" (Social Impact Bonds) that will achieve  the (Lucifer Trust) UN's Social Development Goals (SDG's).

It's been happening in Russia and Brazil and the US and Ukraine and China and everywhere else.

The projects are "pay for success" so they require tracking on blockchain to measure the outcomes---so continued surveillance on a permanent record.

They make the projects sound great but in reality they are enslaving and bring forth the objectives of the (Lucifer Trust) UN's nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr.

Like other types of investments in the stockmarket they can place "bets" on the outcome of the project and make money that way.

Businesses, towns, countries, non-profits, all get ESG scores based on how well they carry out the (Lucifer Trust) Social Development Goals (SDG's).  That is the new credit rating system they are phasing in around the world.

That is the NWO. Everything will be privatized, tracked, traced and owned as part of a portfolio.

This investment company serving Russia explains at their site:

Social impact bonds (SIBs) are a mechanism to attract private investment in the social sphere on a pay-for-success basis in the form of a multilateral contract between the government, an investor and a service provider.

      SIB initiatives across the world
      • Public safety
Implemented eight years ago in the United Kingdom, the world’s first SIB was designed to reduce reoffending among prisoners. In addition to good education and work programmes, 2,000 offenders were provided with mental health support; while prison officers helped them to become more self-disciplined and responsible and find employment. The service provider also continued to help offenders for a period of up to 12 months after their release. An independent evaluation found that the SIB had reduced reoffending in the community by 9%.

      • Education
Goldman Sachs and United Way of Salt Lake carried out a study in 2010 to find that high-quality preschool education helped at-risk children to avoid future special education. The SIB project involved United Way, as the service provider for vulnerable children from low-income families; the investor providing funding of USD7mn for the programme; and the local government, as the commissioner. The social outcomes of the project were well above the target: only one of the 110 vulnerable children was assigned to publicly funded special education. The other kids continued to study under regular preschool education programmes. The positive social outcomes for the beneficiaries included higher school readiness, improved leadership abilities and better academic performance. Based on Utah’s special education add-on of USD2,607 per child per year, the government’s savings were USD281,550.

      • Healthcare
A pilot project was implemented in Fresno, California, to reduce asthma-related emergency department visits. The SIB covered 200 children from low-income families. The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation invested USD660,000 to launch the SIB for the government’s savings of USD5,000 per child per year under the asthma management programme.

Families of children with asthma received in-home medical and advisory support or, if necessary, monthly telephone calls and were provided with necessary medication and first-aid training. They also received high-efficiency filter vacuums, hypoallergenic pillow cases and fragrance-free cleaning supplies, which created the best possible conditions for preventing the development of asthma.
According to an evaluation of the project’s social and financial outcomes, the target was met. The SIB achieved a 30% reduction in emergency department visits and a 50% reduction in hospitalisation, with the government’s savings of USD5,000 per child per year. That is why it was decided that the SIB project should be expanded to 3,000 children with asthma.

      Benefits of SIBs
      For not-for-profit organisations

      • Project replicability
      • Expanded access to social services
      • Reliable financing over the course of project implementation
      • Increased partnership relations
      • Introduction of innovative techniques for achieving social outcomes
      For investors
      • Performance-based investments
      • Socially responsible activities on a repayment basis
      • Contribution to positive social changes
      • Improved public relations due to the use of innovative financing mechanisms
      • Increased partnership relations
      For regions
      • Budgetary financing contingent on confirmed outcomes
      • Optimised budgetary financing/budget savings
      • Additional instrument for accomplishing the national goals and strategic tasks specified in the Russian presidential decree
      • Regional job creation

VEB.RF is a SIB operator in Russia
(in accordance with Resolution of the Russian Government No. 1491 of 21 November 2019)

      • Specifying social outcomes: Specify the desired social outcomes, targets and financing jointly with the public sector commissioner.
      • Searching for investors: Search for SIB investors and service providers.
      • Organising the interaction: Organising the interaction between the public sector commissioner, investors and service providers.
      • Providing project support: Coordinate project implementation, provide methodological support and ensure project monitoring.
      • Providing regulatory support: Prepare drafts of SIB-related regulations of the Russian Government/constituent entity.
      • Organising an independent evaluation: Organise an independent evaluation of social outcomes.
Resolution of the Russian Government No. 1491 of 21 November 2019[/list]
Resolution of the Russian Government No. 1491 of 21 November 2019 on the organisation of SIB pilot testing in constituent entities of the Russian Federation in 2019–2014 (Resolution 1491) is intended to implement the Concept for Improving the Efficiency of Public Budget Expenses in 2019–2024 (Ordinance of the Russian Government No. 117-r of 31 January 2019), whereby it is necessary to promote new mechanisms for public-private partnerships in the social sphere in order to safeguard the economic interests of private partners and attract private investment in social services, provided that Russian budgetary financing is contingent on the achievement of social outcomes. The service provider, however, receives upfront financing from the investor.

Resolution 1491 contains guidelines prepared by the Ministry of Finance in cooperation with VEB.RF and recommended for use by Russian constituent entities to organise SIB pilot testing in 2019–2024. The recommended guidelines provide a regulatory framework for the regional implementation of SIBs and contain a road map for preparing and carrying out SIB projects through the use of an innovative financing mechanism. This basically changes the scheme of performing and financing social services: budgetary financing is to be replaced by pay-for-success financing. Rather than payment for the process of delivering any results, public expenditures are performance-based investments and are contingent on the achievement of specified social outcomes.
Under Resolution 1491, VEB.RF will be the project operator throughout the course of SIB pilot testing in Russia until 2024 (paragraph 4).

The operator is responsible for SIB structuring, prepares the financial model (defines the methodology for calculating the performance metrics and subsidies), searches for investors, selects service providers, supervises the process of entering into contracts, monitors the project’s progress and organises an independent evaluation. The operator organises the interaction between all project participants and technically undertakes to ensure that the project is successful and that the participants fulfil their respective obligations.

      GOVERNMENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
      RESOLUTION
      No. 1491 of 21 November 2019
      Moscow
On the Organisation of Pilot Testing for Social Impact Bonds in Constituent Entities of the Russian Federation in 2019–2014
In order to improve the efficiency and quality of public services (work) by using new instruments of financing for projects aimed at achieving social outcomes, the Government of the Russian Federation hereby resolves as follows:

      • Approval shall be given to the accompanying regulations for organising pilot testing for social impact bonds in constituent entities of the Russian Federation in 2019–2024.
      • The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation shall provide methodological support for the pilot testing of social impact bonds (“pilot testing”).
      • It shall be recommended that the highest governmental executive authorities of constituent entities of the Russian Federation which take a decision on pilot testing should: apply the Regulations approved hereunder;
determine the social impact bonds (SIBs) financed by project initiators, with subsidies provided from the budgets of constituent entities of the Russian Federation … .

    • Russia like most countries around the world is in the transformation process to the ESG scoring system.  ESG stands for Environmental, Social and Governance according to the (Lucifer Trust) UN's Sustainable Development Goals. (SDG's)

ESG is the new credit score.

Here are some excerpts from the Moscow State Institue of International Relations on the ESG Transformation in Russia:

MGIMO Centre for Sustainable Development and ESG Transformation Digest #1

      28 February 2022

      Sustainable finance
Sustainable finance is one of the strategic priorities for the development of the Russian financial market. This is evidenced by the Main directions for the financial markets development by the Bank of Russia. They consolidate the vectors of development of the financial sector until 2024. To realize the potential in this direction, a comprehensive and reliable infrastructure of responsible finance is required. Such infrastructure continues to build in Russia.

On the instructions of the Ministry of Economic Development VEB.RF has developed a draft taxonomy for social projects in sustainable development. The draft regulation includes definitions of key terms, a list of target social groups, as well as 10 target areas and types of social projects. Among the target areas are healthcare, education, employment, entrepreneurship and self-employment, affordable housing, sports, culture, art and tourism, affordable basic infrastructure (urban environment, transport, digitalization), food security, food availability, etc. The approval of the taxonomy for social projects, which is planned in 2022, will increase the volume of social bonds and stimulate the implementation of socially important projects.

      Corporate ESG strategies

The ESG-transformation of Russian business is at the stage of institutionalization. At the end of January 2022, the first official meeting of the founders of the National ESG Alliance was held, and the charter and the structure of its governing bodies were adopted. The main governing body of the alliance will be the Supervisory Board, which includes 28 representatives of the founding companies. Andrey Sharonov, ex-president of Skolkovo and former vice mayor of Moscow, was elected as Chairman of the Alliance.

MGIMO Centre for Sustainable Development and ESG Transformation Digest #4 title=MGIMO Centre for Sustainable Development and ESG Transformation Digest #4
      20 May 2022
The English version of the MCUR Digest (MGIMO Centre for Sustainable Development and ESG Transformation) is a regular information source accuмulating the main Russian news in the sphere of sustainable development and ESG transformation, responsible finance and climate agenda.

The forth issue is focused on the latest news in the above-mentioned areas that were in the spotlight in Russia in April 2022. The originals of the news are available via active links in the text. The English version is published monthly.

      Sustainable Finance
Against the backdrop of a turbulent geopolitical and economic environment, discussions continue on the future of the ESG agenda and responsible financing in Russia. Despite the fact that Russian regions have suspended the issuance of green bonds, the main drivers of ESG transformation remain valid and come from the state and the largest Russian banks. In particular, the Government of the Russian Federation was instructed to consider the issue of state support in ESG investment projects, and Sberbank of Russia is launching a pilot ESG scoring program.

      Climate Policy and Carbon Regulation
Russia will continue to implement its climate policy despite the sanctions. This was stated by Ruslan Edelgeriev, presidential Advisor and Special Presidential Representative on Climate Issues.
The first achievements in the Russian climate agenda are quite visible. In Kaliningrad, for instance, the first measurements of greenhouse gas emission were carried out at the carbon test site. At the same time, the Russian Government’s climate plans are expanding: Victoria Abramchenko, Deputy Prime Minister, has announced the creation of a national climate risk management system, which will minimize damage to agriculture, industry and housing and communal services.

      Corporate ESG Strategies
Leading experts in ESG area express the opinion that the implementation of sustainable development principles will help Russian companies to cope with the crisis. However, it is possible to note the reduction of interest to the ESG agenda on the part of Russian companies associated with the need for timely solutions to other acute challenges. Some areas for development of the largest companies (ESG leaders) remain, they are highlighted in the report «ESG: Three Letters that Change the World» published by Higher School of Economics.
At the meeting of the founders of the ESG Alliance, they discussed areas of action to stimulate systemic transformation of the ESG agenda in Russia. Here are the main priorities:

      • to develop further and strengthen the national ESG infrastructure related to reporting, standards, ratings and certification;
      • to carry out research within Russia and in the so-called «new» foreign markets;
      • to promote the improvement of national ESG regulation, including the climate and carbon agenda;
      • to establish a systematic dialogue with cross-country associations in the «new» markets, including the BRICS countries, the EAEU and in part of the Asia-Pacific region, as well as to interact with ESG expert community in these regions;
      • to carry out educational activities in the field of sustainable development, designed for a wide audience within the country.

Education for Sustainable Development and ESG Transformation
The Faculty of Applied Economics and Commerce of MGIMO has launched a new Master’s program named «Climate and Carbon Regulation». It is designed to fill a significant shortage of specialists in the field of carbon regulation, capable of developing and implementing climate strategies and reporting on greenhouse gas emissions.
On May 20, 2022, MGIMO Business School is launching a professional development program «Greenhouse Gas Emissions Management: from Calculation to Compensation». The aim of the program is to provide knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to account for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, as well as to develop decarbonization measures. The curriculum includes subjects on legislative and methodological regulations, calculations of GHG emissions in all Scopes (Scope 1, 2 and 3), development of climate strategies and implementation of compensation projects.
The course on the basics of climate policy, quantification of greenhouse gas emissions and climate-related reporting, conducted by the Center for Complex Problems of Environmental Management and the Environment, has been completed at MGIMO. The course was organized within the framework of the training program of the Center for Sustainable Development and ESG Transformation of MGIMO and lasted from January 29 to April 23. 24 students completed the course.
On April 25-29, MGIMO hosted the 8th ESG Solution Cup Case Championship. The championship has been held annually since 2014. It is organized by «MGIMO Goes Green» Environmental Club with the support of MGIMO Department of International Complex Problems of Environmental Management and Ecology and MGIMO Endowment. In 2022, participants could compete in one of six cases. 59 teams and 130 individual participants from 28 regions of Russia had registered to participate in the qualifying stage. Twenty-seven teams made it to the final. Among the partners and experts there were representatives of INK-Capital, RUSAL, Sberbank of Russia, KPMG, NLMK, AFK Sistema, Mospriroda, CarbonLab, CCI of the Russian Federation, «Nash Fond» and Baltic Nature Fund.
      The winner teams were:

      • in the case «Green» oil: the use of technologies that provide a negative carbon footprint of hydrocarbon raw materials" — «Molodye/Zelenye» (Irkutsk National Research Technical University).

Several publications on the topic of sustainable development and ESG transformation were published in spring.
      • «Introduction to the profession of international ecologist», edited by R.A.Aliyev, authored by R.A. Aliyev, Head of the Department of International Complex Problems of Nature Management and Ecology, A.A.Avramenko, Associate Professor of the department, and S.D. Denisova, graduate of the same department. The textbook is designed for undergraduate students studying Ecology and Environmental Management at MGIMO. It covers various aspects of environmental-oriented activities carried out by MGIMO and other Russian and foreign universities. It also contains practical tasks and cases that provide insight into the professional skills needed by the future ecologist, including information on climate change and ESG transformation.
      • The first volume of the series of publications «ESG transformation as a vector of sustainable development» by MGIMO ESG Resource Center «Priority 2030», under the general editorship of Prof. C.E.Tourbina and Prof. I.Y.Yurgens ( project manager). The first volume includes the book «Renewable Energy in the world Energy supply system» (V.V. Bessel, V.G. Kucherov, A.S. Lopatin, R.D. Mingaleeva); «International standards of non-financial reporting» (I.S. Barsola, E.A. Tereshchenko, S.D. Denisova, V.I. Ruzakova); «Global management of sustainable development: the main participants, institutions and processes» (A.M. Vartanyan); «Sustainable development and capital markets» (I.N. Makhalin, M.A. Kanzerova, D.O. gαyeva); «Damage caused to the environment: types and assessment» (N.A. Chernykh, Yu.I. Baeva).

In March, the expert-analytical platform «Infrastructure and Finance of Sustainable Development» (INFRAGREEN; www.infragreen.ru) published the report «ESG and Green Finance of Russia 2018-2022», which summarizes the results of the development of the ESG sector and the responsible finance market in Russia from 2018 to early 2022. The initiator and the main author of the Report is Svetlana Bik, Head of INFRAGREEN, an expert-analytical platform. S.D. Denisova, leader of the «Сareer and Сommunity» line of the Center for Sustainable Development and ESG Transformation of MGIMO, also contributed greatly to the report, editing the section devoted to ESG education.
On May 19, MGIMO will host a student conference titled «Risk Management of Sustainable Economic Development». The main goal of the conference is to attract young specialists to the study of sustainable development and climate risks.

      Environmental Protection
Due to the foreign sanctions, the implementation of environmental projects may be delayed, as businesses and the state need to organize import substitution of environmental protection equipment and systems. Despite the postponement of some government programs and business reliefs in 2022, Head of the Ministry of Natural Resources says that sanctions will not affect the quality of environmental control.

Victoria Abramchenko, Deputy Prime Minister, also instructed the Russian Ecological Operator to ensure construction of municipal solid waste (MSW) processing facilities in accordance with the plan and achievement of targets, including sorting 100 percent of MSW by 2030. To achieve the goal, it is planned to subsidize the interest rate on the construction of MSW processing facilities, and to support investors in the field of waste management. According to Denis Butsaev, Head of the Russian Ecological Operator, import substitution of equipment for waste sorting plants is growing, and a full transition to domestic equipment may take about two years.

The issues of import substitution of environmental technologies and the formation of Russia’s ecological sovereignty, as well as green diplomacy to build a constructive international dialogue on climate and ecology are the topics at the XIII International Ecological Forum, which will be held in Moscow on May 23-24 at the Center for International Trade. More than 36 sections is planned, and more than a thousand participants are expected.

      19 October 2020
Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to participants of the gala evening marking the 75th anniversary of the UN.

I would like to extend my greetings on the occasion of this celebration to the leadership and staff of the UN bodies’ representative offices accredited in Russia, as well as to the UN Information Centre in Moscow and the UN Association of Russia.

The United Nations Organisation was established to strengthen peace and security worldwide, to facilitate a political and diplomatic settlement of crises, to ensure sustainable socioeconomic development and to protect human rights.

Russia as a co-founder of the UN has been actively supporting its activities, consistently advocating the strengthening of its central coordinating role in global affairs and the importance of strict compliance with the norms and principles of the UN Charter. We proceed from the assumption that there is no, nor had there ever been any alternative to the UN as a global platform for an equal multilateral dialogue and partner-like collaboration in dealing with a host of various problems facing humanity.

The theme of the 75th UN anniversary celebration is Shaping Our Future Together. It is indeed true that we will only be effective if we stand up together against the global challenges of the 21st century in order to ensure the peaceful and prosperous development of the humankind.
      President of the Russian Federation
