No, I did not.  But I know lots of Catholics and even more Protestants, ‘born again’ types, who honestly believed a prophesy that Trump would win by a landslide and ‘save’ the US from communism.  I heard various sources for the prophesy, depending upon whether Catholic or Protestant.

The confusing piece at the bottom - pointed out by the editor of LifeSite news - may not still be clear to some.   As a Catholic, I know that Our Lord delegates his power.  Mary has no power in her own right.  But God has chosen the most humiliating way to bring The Prince of this world down to his knees.  I recall how the original sin originated by a woman tempting a man.   The man succuмbed to the temptation thus through him all his descendents lost the fullness of grace that Adam and Eve had.  A spiritual genetic, now indelible flaw - is best way to describe it, removable only by the Sacrament of Baptism.  The power that Mary has has been  given to her by God.  It is His power that she draws on and which alone conquers the enemy.   It is humiliating because Lucifer chose the weaker sex convinced that if he got the woman he was home and hosed.  Did he cunningly know that Adam, if directly approached, would banish him out of sight?   With Mary God has chosen?  Lucifer thought he had won full stop.   Now, to have  have his head crushed by a woman is poetic justice.
