I'm sure everyone has their opinions which direct what they're choosing to cover or report on, but there's always value in someone that's doing actual reporting and Drop Site is doing that.

While we're on the subject, a Chinese professor dude popped up in my feed. His channel is called Predictive History. I started this video below, and so far it makes a lot of sense. Anyone know this guy?

Same as you, he popped up on my YouTube :laugh1:

The video I watched sounded alright at first, but drifted too far off the rails for me. He said that a possible Iran war motivation for Trump is that a ground war could lead to emergency war powers which would put Trump in a position to delay US elections and effectively give him a 3rd term. So, he argues that a big part of Trump's motivation for blowing up the middle east is just so that he can be president longer, and I'm not buying that. He also attributed it to hubris: "Venezuela went so well, where do we want to show off next!" That might have boosted their confidence, but I don't think it rises to the level of explaining the reasons for this war.
