You're two days behind on Trump's changes of position.
From today:
Dickerson continued to press the billionaire [on abortion].
“But do you have a feeling of how they should change?” he asked. “There are a lot of laws you want to change. You’ve talked about everything from libel to torture. Anything you want to change?”
“At this moment the laws are set and I think we have to leave it that way,” Trump said.

materdominici - this is not a change of his position. Because, trump does not want to be an executive order president. Trump is a "deal" maker, and has said that sometimes no deal is better. He wants to get people together and make deals happen. And, in this case, he currently thinks that no deal will or should happen. That is not a change of his position; it is consistent with his overall approach. And, that is only if abortion laws are determined at the federal level. So, it doesn't negate his position presented here. And, his position is this, because he has not retracted this. -
"After a clip of that interview was released, Trump's campaign first released the following statement from Trump: "This issue is unclear and should be put back into the states for determination. "
So, you are reading into that which is not there. Don't do that.
He then went on to say that - The second statement reads: "If Congress were to pass legislation making abortion illegal and the federal courts upheld this legislation, or any state were permitted to ban abortion under state and federal law, the doctor or any other person performing this illegal act upon a woman would be held legally responsible, not the woman. The woman is a victim in this case as is the life in her womb. My position has not changed".
That you could call a change, if you consider that convoluted conversation he had with matthews clear and binding. Matthews was a messy terrible host. He talked over trump constantly. It can be tough to reason properly in such an environment. But, this is what trump has to face. It is a firestorm mess. So, give the guy a break. I think trump is genuine. And, he doesn't need to be belittled, especially from those who should be supporting him.
