What I am looking at is a Pilot Program called AZ Empower. For pregnant girls ages 13-15. The program is to keep girls in school/education, and a place for childcare, and a job. Set them up with other benefits. The State reimburse the employer for the wages. So it is an experimental program. Under "JOBS" includes medical /other.
I would have to look at that"JOBS" paperwork. I do know that the health fairs we had were to sign up and to be eligible for benefits as well as medical. At one parish, CUF member did see prescriptions written out for birth control. I am going on his word. But Planned Parenthood was there with their exhibit and pamphlets. JOBS is with DES and I never trusted them. DES was know by the crisis pregnancy centers, for trying to pay for abortions and not to be caught.
Under ineligible children (Family benefit Cap) A child born with 10 calendar months of CA cash assistance is ok. Of course, that is what the program is about. A child born during any period of time specified in subsection A is ineligible.
So, IMO the pregnant girls were covered, but after the child was born, than what? Well, the girls were the "property" of the state, they would get state info, family planning to deliver and of course we know what is expected. JOBS A.R.S 46-299 and I found Job readiness program including life skills, and I know what that is. Life skills was a term to take in sex info.
