  • Washington (CNN)Hillary Clinton on Monday interrupted her stump speech involuntarily in a coughing spell -- and wryly blamed the incident on GOP rival Donald Trump.

"Every time I think about Trump I get allergic," said the Democratic nominee in the midst of her coughing outbreak during a Cleveland rally, Ohio. Behind Clinton, running mate Tim Kaine clapped while the audience laughed in response.

Kellyanne Conway, Trump's campaign manager, seized on the episode to tweak Clinton over her distance from the media -- including not holding a full-blown press conference since last December.

"Must be allergic to media. Finally spent a minute w/ them," Conway wrote on Twitter.

Hillary Clinton flies with the traveling press corps for the first time

Earlier Monday, Clinton took steps to seemingly answer more press questions, by including her traveling press corps on the same plane on which she flies.

"I will come back and talk to you more formally but I wanted to welcome you onto the plane," Clinton said at the outset of a Labor Day campaign swing.

Clinton has dealt with coughing fits before, but Monday's among the most disruptive. She previously coughed excessively during a February 17 speech about race, in Harlem, New York, and in an earlier Iowa address, on January 25, at the Jєωιѕн Federation of Greater Des Moines.

  • What a bunch of tools. In the middle of an article in which they ADMIT Hillary has "coughing fits" -- not one but at least 3 of them they will admit to -- they include links to other articles in their trash can such as "Debunking the Hillary health conspiracy"

Come on, it's not a conspiracy theory! It's reality. You're even admitting to it!

    Liberal biased idiots.

Only a brazenly biased publication like CNN could spin a presidential-office-disqualifying health problem into a criticism of Trump...

Poll: Most Doctors say the Hillary's Health Concerns Serious.  AAPS.

Hillary's Health Concerns Serious, Say Most Doctors Polled by the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS)
TUCSON, Ariz., Sept. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Concerns about Hillary Clinton's health are "serious—could be disqualifying for the position of President of the U.S.," say nearly 71% of 250 physicians responding to an informal internet survey by the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS). About 20% said concerns were "likely overblown, but should be addressed as by full release of medical records." Only 2.7% responded that they were "just a political attack; I have confidence in the letter from her physician and see no cause for concern."

While more than 81% were aware of her history of a concussion, only 59% were aware of the cerebral sinus thrombosis, and 52% of the history of deep venous thrombosis.

More than 78% said the health concerns had received "not enough emphasis" in the media, and only 2.7% that there had been "too much emphasis."

Nearly two-thirds said that a physician who had a concern about a candidate's fitness to serve for health reasons should "make the concerns known to the public." Only 11% said a physician should "keep silent unless he had personally examined the patient," and 10% that the candidate's health was "off limits for public discussion."

Eighty-eight respondents submitted comments. One said that "the public interest will ALWAYS override either privacy rights or rights of self-determination in the case of a presidential candidate." Another mentioned Clinton's "so called loss of memory claimed during her FBI questioning about her email server." Beyond the specific questions, one remarked that "I think that the candidate should be honest with the public about his/her health!" The history of the concussion was concerning: "The public must watch the movie Concussion to realize that such an injury does affect thought process."

A poll of 833 randomly selected registered voters by Gravis Marketing showed that nearly half (49%) were not aware of the "well docuмented major health issues that Hillary Clinton has." Nearly three-fourths (74%) were unaware of Bill Clinton's statement that Hillary suffered a "terrible" concussion requiring "six months of very serious work to get over." The majority (57%) thought that candidates should release their medical records.

"Both physicians and other voters think that health concerns are relevant when choosing a presidential candidate," states AAPS executive director Jane M. Orient, M.D. "However, more than 40% of physician respondents were unaware of the cerebral sinus thrombosis, and the vast majority of voters were not aware of all of Clinton's problems or their potential serious long-term implications for cognitive function."

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) is a national organization representing physicians in virtually all specialties and every state. Founded in 1943, AAPS has the motto "omnia pro aegroto," which means "all for the patient."

  • Now there have been two live coughing fits, the first one over two minutes long and the second one over 4 minutes.  She isn't learning from experience, apparently.

I heard a doctor on the radio saying that these coughing fits, along with Hillary's need for assistance climbing stairs, moments of loss of balance and lapses of concentration are all symptoms of some patients recovering from a stroke.

Incontinence can be a side-effect of stroke as well.  Remember her late arrival on stage a few months ago when she said she had been in the "girl's room?" Then there is the curiously bulky waist area of her outfits that could be concealing an adult diaper.

Her cough sounds very dry, as if it might be affected by some medication that irritates her throat, plus the anxiety of making excuses for her private e-mail server and ignorance of "classified" notation "(c)" could make it worse.  She says she's allergic to Trump but the doctor commenting on this says as far as he knows, she has not been physically exposed to Donald Trump, so her allergy must be due to something else. Additionally, most allergies show up as sneezing fits, not coughing fits.

One would expect someone with presence of mind and any experience with public speaking with a live handheld microphone, to pull the mic away from their mouth when they cough or sneeze or belch or hic-cough.  Radio broadcasters have a "cough button" that shuts off the mic as long as it is depressed.  But Hillary has continued to hold the live mic close to her mouth while she is coughing, for the most dramatic effect of her fit, for all to hear.

    This is very odd.

Either she doesn't care what others hear when she makes these offensive noises or else she's just too stupid to know what she's doing. It's hard to believe that she's trying to impress her audience with the sound of her coughing.

I know a man who named his daughter after Hillary about 30 years ago.  When he sneezes, he goes, "Ah-(snugh)----CHOOOO!"  The sneeze itself is entirely confined to the "Ah-(snugh)" and then when it's over, he shouts "CHOOOO" out loud.  It's really odd to hear.  But maybe it has something to do with his infatuation with Hillary.  He had been an avid reader of socialist publications in those days.
