    • Australia could invest benevolently in PNG, and would be welcomed by the PNGers.
    However Australia has been sucking up to China and does not even defend the Aussies from the encroachment on Australian islands from the Chinese. It is hardly likely to stand up for our nearest neighbour, PNG.
