  • What are your thoughts on voting for Catholic presidential candidate, Peter Sonski, in blue non-swing states like California? Would it send a message to the GOP, without negatively affecting Trump?

  • Who?

I know of the American Solidarity Party, but it is very small.

If it wants to grow, then it has to start locally. In a news article, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made this exact same point about the Green Party under Jill Stein -- another minor party that breeds insanity by expecting the same result and fielding a candidate for 3% of the vote every 4 years. We disagree on nearly every issue but she is spot-on in that respect.

Have candidates ready to run in 2025 and 2026. Target retiring incuмbents. But for right now, Peter Sonski is wasting his time and money on a vanity project.

  • For where Sonski is or isn't on the ballot, and where a write-in is allowed, see here (scroll down): https://www.petersonski.com/

Right now, he's on the ballot in Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Hawaii, and Ohio. Of those, only Hawaii would be a blue non-swing state. But lots of other write-in states across the spectrum from deep red to deep blue.

As for whether it's an effective way to send a message to the GOP, they don't care what we think since their interests are in a different direction. The GOP is pretty much telling us to take it or leave it.

The question possibly worth considering (if only for the sake of discussion) is whether voting ASP could be a moral option in 2024 for those who simply feel committed to the civil act of voting.

Peter Sonski is irrelevant to the GOP, most of which (at the leadership level) is composed of NeoCons and Bush-type war mongers (who care only about their own finacial well-being and taxes and don't care about "social issues" like baby-killing, forced medical experimentation, anit-parent so-called education system which pushes child sɛҳuąƖ mutilation without the parents' knowledge or consent and the FBI spying on Trad Catholics) hate Trump and have been forced to tolerate him only because he and his supporters overwhelmed them. Voting for Peter Sonski would be wasted.

On the other hand, a vote for Trump is not wasted because the more votes he gets (even in blue states) forces the GOP to respect the Trump wing of the party.

  • Never heard of him, either.  Solid Blue state in northeast.  Would be a write in, no relevance.
