  • I love how Ron Paul totally stood up for the Catholic Church and the hospitals on his question regarding illegal immigration.

Spiritus, did you hear his answer?

  • It's not surprising that he isn't anti-Catholic considering he's a Lutheran. Most Lutherans aren't anti-Catholic, primarily because their service actually maintains some Catholic elements.

Regarding his answer, I liked it.

I find the Lutherans to be the most anticatholic of anyone, considering the list of Luther that he posted on the door of the Church.

Did you see his answer about gays in the military too?

  • Why do the GOP fools continue to debate on networks like CNN?

CNN's only purpose in this debate is to ruin all of them, turn them against each other, get ratings in the process, and bloody them up for BO.

I wouldn't give them the satisfaction. This is a GOP primary. I'd have every debate on Fox. Then for the general election, I'd refuse to debate BO, unless he agreed to at least ONE debate on Fox. If he refused, I'd debate a cardboard cut out of him on Fox on Nat'l TV.

Paying homage to the controlled media is a necessary evil. Foolish, but necessary it seems. If a principled Republican doesn't want to pander to the biased likes of CNN, someone less principled will and will get their message heard.

Witness the last election when they weren't busy slandering Ron Paul, they were busy minimizing or ignoring him, which was usually worse.

He had several state primaries outright *stolen* from him, and not a peep in the mainstream media.

With Lutherans (or any form of Protestant really) you'll get a mixed bag, I guess. But Martin Luther aside, from what I have observed the Lutherans are nowhere near as anti-Catholic as Baptists are.

No, I didn't see that answer from him. What did he say?

  • Various media "Poll" results from the debate.
Ron Paul ahead by leaps and bounds. All news sources ignore it.

The problem with those type of polls is of course that they allow for any candidate to coordinate for their supporters to gang on, and dope the results.

To me, Bachmann is the one that did best to further her prospects, as she silenced her critics that had her pegged as dumber  then Palin.  As for Paul, well, I'm always amused to see his boyish joy of taking parts in these events, especially when he gets to talk about his pet subjects.

If there's so much support for Romney, why don't the Romney people have the ability to "game" the polls?

That's the ever burning question. The answer is, that Romney is getting support from the Wall Street thugs, and the big corporations, and that's how he games the polls. Ron Paul has actual SUPPORT from the PEOPLE, so to the mainstream media, that doesn't count and the people are just labeled as "bots" and their opinions don't count.

Anyone has the ability to game those polls, and sometimes that is not even organized by a candidates organisation.   It only takes a radio station D.J. or even, and why not, you PFT who ask all your contacts to flood a particular poll.

Who does it, why and why not ? well, it don't really matter in the end since no one pay serious attention to those polls.

Don't worry to much about corporate money, Obama proved that it's possible to raise even more money with grassroots supporters if they really exist and are truly motivated.
