To anyone who is still unaware of hαɾɾιs's background, this link should suggest precisely what sort of woman she is and what actions she had to, uh, perform to move from the bottom to the top, politically speaking. Note especially Steve Sailer's parody form of her name: Kamasutra hαɾɾιs.

It looks like you're "with the times" to pick a black woman and making everything about either race or being a woman.

Expect this to get much worse come 2024.

Let's dig up everything we can, but at the same time, let's make sure that we can docuмent her quotes, action she has taken, and so on.  For instance, I saw a quote about her threatening to "go after Trump supporters".  When did she say this?  Is there videotape?  Ditto for the anti-Catholicism that she's been accused of exhibiting.  As Warner Wolf would have said, let's go to the videotape. Where are the articles?  Not suggesting it's untrue, we just need proof, not memes.

Don't get me wrong, when the news came over the wire yesterday, I was topping off my gas tank at Circle K, and the compound word I muttered to myself to characterize Joe Biden is not repeatable here.  (Hint: it would actually be more applicable to Pete Buttigieg, cough cough.)  Susan Rice (pretty non-political up to now) or Tammy Duckworth (lost her legs in defense of this country's military mission) would have been preferable, or rather, the least bad where no one is "good".  Karen Bass, fellow traveler par excellence.  So Kamala hαɾɾιs isn't the best, but neither is she the worst.  "Almost-worst" would be more like it.

And not to sound tacky, but she's not really "black", she's multiracial, and she's married to a white man.  And, like Obama before her, she's not descended from American blacks, thus not an heiress of the American black slavery-and-Jim-Crow experience.  If I were a black American, I'd be just a little offended --- "are we not good enough?".  Stacey Abrams, "too black"?  Not defending her pro-choice stance (virtually all Democratic candidates are pro-choice), but I listened to an interview they did with her, and she was much more intelligent, much more articulate than I expected, but that's thought crime right there, they don't like you to speak of black people as being "articulate", because that insinuates that they're an exception to the rule.  And her hair, sorry guys, but it's no more outlandish than Donald Trump's.  Or Joe Biden's plugs for that matter.

Random thoughts.  Let's fight, but let's be on solid ground when we do.

Out of a charity that they do not deserve, as well as to keep the discourse civil and something more difficult to dismiss, I tend to use the terms that various movements use for themselves, even if I find those terms objectionable.  I really want to believe that very few people are "pro-abortion", which would mean (to me anyway) "I like abortion, abortion is a good thing, what we need in the world is more abortion".  Not even Margaret Sanger would have said that, quite the contrary.  She advocated birth control and viewed abortion as a failure.  Do we not prefer to be called "pro-life" rather than "anti-choice", "anti-abortion", or even "pro-forcing women to have unwanted babies"?

I really want to believe that very few people are "pro-abortion", which would mean (to me anyway) "I like abortion, abortion is a good thing, what we need in the world is more abortion".

I want to believe that too; however the facts are that movie stars, politicians and tic tok users DO celebrate their abortions.

March 5, 2020 (Society for the Protection of Unborn Children) — An online video has surfaced which shows a young woman dancing in an abortion clinic and smiling as her unborn baby is killed during an ultrasound guided surgical abortion. Eden Linton, SPUC Youth and Education Officer said: “This video is grotesque. For any person to celebrate and smile as an innocent human is torn apart is utterly depraved.”

The footage shows the girl cradling her early pregnancy bump and laughing in a car as she arrives at a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic. She is then seen dancing in celebration in the waiting room, whilst another couple sat sadly in the corner. The footage shows the ultrasound-guided abortion where the baby is then sucked from the womb. The girl is seen smiling cheerfully on the bed with her legs in stirrups.

Last fall, actress Martha Plimpton (of “Goonies” fame long, long ago) bragged publicly that her first and “best” abortion took place at a Seattle Planned Parenthood. Plimpton promotes a movement to #ShoutYourAbortion. Adoring fans cheered and laughed as she assured them it was “heads and tails above the rest” of her multiple abortions. “If I could Yelp review it,” she cracked, “I totally would.”

A widely viewed TikTok video that has drawn horrified responses shows a girl laughing and apparently having fun as she reveals her pregnancy and heads to Planned Parenthood for what appears to be her second abortion attempt.
   The video shows the girl exposing her somewhat swollen abdomen and laughing in the car, apparently on her way to Planned Parenthood to have an abortion. It continues with footage of her smiling as she actually undergoes the abortion, and a close-up of the ultrasound image as her baby is aborted.

According to previous TikTok posts, the girl had taken the Plan B “emergency contraceptive” pill in an attempt to terminate the pregnancy.
