    • I don't see where Arpaio did anything wrong, other than disobey a stupid, law-defying liberal judge who made a political decision in his case.

    • There's stories about the conditions in which his prisoners were in - you don't treat people like that in a first world country.

    Many of these prisoners should have never been here to begin with, and what's more, they received better treatment then they would have from countries they came from.

    • I barely understand some of these replies and some of them just plainly sound stupid

    I know I don't know Arpaio and he could be guilty of all kinds of stuff. But based on what I know about his court case,

    I just say again

    yay Trump

    if he ignored sex traffickers, well, then, shame on him but I know nothing about that, and frankly I wonder if poster who mentioned that knows about such things either. I don't listen to just anyone

    He did not just ignore sex traffickers. He used the resources that would have been used to investigate sex crimes in order to enforce his border priority. Therefore if you were the victim of a sex crime in Arpaio's jurisdiction your crime would have not been ingnored by his department in favor of his other priorities.

    I disagree with about 95% 0f what 'poche' is about-- nor is this a defense of the anti-pope JP2--  but it does look like Arpaio is covering up for Pizzagators( Templars)......
    Yesterday  I heard the latter boast about his co-operation with Watergator G Liddy in some law enforcement  operation.

     Liddy's son was arrested last week on about 40 counts of child porn possession... :sleep:

    Is it just possible, that border control could have an impact on, for example, sex crimes and human trafficking?
    Also, departments have budgets. Every dept. uses resources that aren't used for lots of things. So what? Despite what the world says, we can't "...do, be and have it all." That lie is part of why many our kids have no parents to speak of and end up, for example, being sex offenders, and other darlings of the justice system so-called.
