  • It seems to me that if a pope is not a valid pope and is ... and/or a heretic

he cannot canonize anyone which means JP II is not a saint
Do you mean to say that Padre Pio was not a saint?

  • The laity have lost all discernment especially with Opus Dei directing them to be obedient and telling them not to question the holiness of the Pope with the mantra, "Do not be holier than the Pope."

Those who do question the validity of the Novus Ordo, the docuмents of Vatican II, or the sayings of Pope Francis are told that they are being scrupulous or suffer from OCD. Yes, Freud to the rescue.

They are also told that it is better to be part of the solution than part of the problem, but how can the laity fix the church by being silent or by praying silently in their homes? Honestly, I tried that.
    I agree.
that's why protestants look down on Catholics, b/c they think we let the pope do our thinking for us. It looks like they have a valid point @ times

  • so we have an underground Church

    that's what I see

I think it's interesting that I never really trusted JPII

Benedict, I kind of liked but have to admit, never learned much about him, so probably just a subjective kind of like thing... based on who knows what? maybe he reminds me of a favorite person from my past or something, remembered only by the subconscious... laugh

anyhow...  I agree w/ those who have say we haven't had a valid pope since... I guess XII

can't recall his name... it's time for whiskey or soemthing

    Oh, no. No whiskey.

You need to be wide awake in order to understand this apostasy within the Catholic Church and how to deal with it. Your very salvation is at risk.

Stay away from whiskey. Ajo tea from Equador and the Amazonian jungles is a marvelous tea for whatever ails you. Yes, it tastes like garlic (ajo is Spanish for garlic), but it will grow hair on your chest.

My husband said that it works better than coffee without the hangover one gets if one cannot drink that morning cup of Joe (aka battery acid).

Ajo is a very manly drink. My husband will drink four to six cups per day, while I can only manage one or rarely two cups. It gives him energy and endurance.
    Lord have mercy.

a lot of people who have lived beyond 110 drink whiskey. I could never drink it by itself but put it in coffee/espresso etc
In any case, it looks like Catholics are going to have to be a little "protestant" in that they will no longer be able to say that Jesus is in the Building (Church). He is still there in some churches but I don't think he really "hangs around" when the priest of the Church is corrupt/not-really-Catholic
and as someone said, you are either catholic or you are not
It makes sense that the Presence would not be in all Churches b/c many priests are not priests, not even Catholic
