Hmm, I always imagine that the Anti-Christ would be the opposite of Christ in every way.

But whoever it is, he/she will probably be born into a very rich family (in opposition to the nativity) with much luxury about him.

Well Revelation and Our Lady of LaSallette say "he", so Im pretty sure he'll be a male, and she did also say that the mother of the anti-christ will be a false virgin. Before hand she warns the superiors of convents to "be careful of whom they admit".

Whatever happens, we should ignore the bull #### coming from talk radio and focus on what our Faith and our traditions say's about the matter. Islam is going to be LONG GONE by the time the anti-christ comes, because the Great Monarch will have already crushed it forever.

Yes I think this will be more likely and has been prophesied I believe. It makes sense because the Jєωs rejected the true Messiah and so they will eventually find their own "messiah" who will be the anti-christ.

He will be the opposite of Christ, he will only claim to be either a Prophet or Christ Himself. The smart people will be able to see right through him.

I disagree. I think the "smart" people - the sophisticates, the cognoscenti - will be among his most devoted followers. The simple, faithful people will be the ones who see through him.

I think the smart proud people will be swayed and will not recognize the Anti-Christ. Knowledge has nothing to do with this, it will be the meek, the humble and grace filled that will recognize the Anti-Christ.

I remember Fr. Denis would say, when Anti-Christ comes he won't be wearing 666 stamped on his forehead.

I also don't remember reading in the Bible that he will be Jєωιѕн per se but he will be descended from the tribe of Dan. That could almost mean anyone, since the tribe of Dan is a lost tribe and who knows by this time who can trace their roots through that tribe.

Yes, I remember reading that his mother is to be a virgin, could be maybe this person will be a clone. lol! (No soul)

In Cardinal Manning's book, The Pope and the Anti-Christ, he says that the Fathers including St. Irenaeus, St. Jerome, St. Hippolytus, St. Ambrose, St. Cyril of Jerusalem, St. Ephrem, St. Gregory nαzιanzen, St. Gregory of Nyssa, St. John Damascene, St. Augustine, St. Gregory the Great, and St. Robert Bellarmine believed that the anti-christ will be of the Jєωιѕн race and from the tribe of Dan.

Yeah, wise is what I meant by smart. A person who is truely wise, spirtually wise, will be able to recognize him as the Anti-Christ.

I am reading a book now titled History of AntiChrist by Rev. P. Huchede.

Here is some of what it says:

"It is certain that Antichrist will be a man because the Scriptures call him in express terms the "man of sin..." It is certain that he will be of the Jєωιѕн race....Like Our Lord, he will be brought up in obscurity; he will lead a hidden life until the time comes when he shall begin his public career....According to tradition, he will be educated by magicians who will imbue his mind and heart from his very childhood with their doctrine and wicked principles...

He shall never do a good act. His satanic pride shall be especially conspicuous...He will conceal his crimes and pass as the most virtuous of men...He will be loaded with honors...He will possess a natural, vast, and powerful genius, an irresistable eloquence...He will know by heart all the Sacred Scriptures and posses a perfect knowledge of the arts."

He could come from the tribe of Dan, but that would be really difficult to prove genealogically speaking.

Interesting. Just 2 things: when the author says "he shall never do a good act", that means a supernatural one right? And also with regard to the tribe he will come from I believe he will say he comes from the tribe of Juda in order to be descendent of David, otherwise no Jєω will follow him, IMO.
