Title: Another kind of child seperation
Post by: poche on August 10, 2019, 12:53:37 AM
A gut-wrenching plea from a sobbing Mississippi (https://www.huffpost.com/topic/mississippi) girl to the U.S. government to “not leave the children with cryingness” is rippling through the media as the face of the suffering of a mammoth bust of migrants by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (https://www.huffpost.com/topic/ice) agents.
“Government, please [use] your heart. Let my parents be free and everybody else. Please don’t leave the children with cryingness,” sobs 11-year-old Magdalena Gomez Grigorio in a news video. “I need my dad and mami. My dad ... is not a criminal.”
Magdalena was one of scores of children apparently left abandoned (https://www.huffpost.com/entry/ice-raids-mississippi-children_n_5d4bca16e4b01e44e4752f1c) after ICE raided seven (https://www.huffpost.com/entry/ice-raids-mississippi-plant-trump-el-paso_n_5d4b1675e4b01e44e47445f4)food processing plants Wednesday in different towns in central Mississippi in the largest single arrest of immigrants in a more than a decade. Agents rounded up 680 men and women. But more than 300 reportedly were released Thursday morning with notices to appear before immigration judges.
The operation occurred just hours before President Donald Trump (https://www.huffpost.com/news/topic/donald-trump) traveled to Dayton, Ohio, (https://www.huffpost.com/entry/dayton-ohio-mayor-trump-shooting_n_5d4b81a0e4b0066eb70c3a5a) and El Paso, Texas, (https://www.huffpost.com/topic/el-paso-texas) in the wake of mass shootings in both cities. The attack on an El Paso Walmart has been linked to a vicious anti-immigrant manifesto (https://www.huffpost.com/entry/patrick-crusius-manifesto-el-paso-shooting_n_5d460ba5e4b0aca3411ec308) authorities believe was written by the suspected gunman.
Children milled outside of schools Wednesday with no one to pick them up and nowhere to go. Teachers, relatives and other volunteers turned up to take them in or to community centers. Jordan Barnes, a private gym owner in the town of Forest, was offering the space for the children and arranging donated food and mattresses for the children along with help from other community leaders. “I understand the law and how everything works ... but everybody needs to hold the kids first and foremost in their minds,” Barnes told Channel 12 WJTV (https://www.wjtv.com/news/children-of-undocuмented-immigrants-arrested-in-mississippi-rely-on-strangers-for-food-and-shelter/) (see the video below).
About 200 children in the area didn’t show up (https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/hamedaleaziz/kids-attendance-schools-ice-raid-operation-mississippi) for school the following day, BuzzFeed reported. One district was missing a fourth of its students. Some likely couldn’t get to school, while others may have been too frightened to attend. It’s also possible children simply went missing with no one to look out for them.
Gabriela Rosales, a six-year resident of Morton, where some of the raids took place, told The Associated Press that she understands that “there’s a process and a law.” But what ICE did was “devastating,” she added. “It was very devastating to see all those kids crying (https://www.apnews.com/379ceb154aa34469832a8ccbc22cf2e5), [possibly] having seen their parents for the last time.”

Two children, aged 12 and 14, were left alone for eight days after both their parents were arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (https://time.com/5648886/mississippi-ice-raid-immigrants/) (ICE) during sweeping workplace raids in Mississippi (https://time.com/5649108/mississippi-ice-raids-no-employers-charged/) earlier this month, ABC News reports (https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/kids-left-parent-home-days-mississippi-ice-raid/story?id=65150421).
In a statement to TIME, ICE Southern Region Communications Director Bryan Cox confirmed that the children’s mother was freed from custody on Aug. 15. Cox said she did not tell authorities of her children on the day of her arrest, Aug. 7, and added that once she told ICE, she was released.
“Every person arrested that day was asked if they had children… Everyone person encountered that day was also asked if they had minor children that we needed to account for in processing. This particular individual made no such claim,” Cox continued. “Further, she did not claim a husband or father to any children. This agency can only make determinations based upon the information in our possession, which this person declined to provide.”
ICE did not provide the name of the woman released from custody, but ABC News reports her first name is Ana. ABC spoke to Ana and her brother, Pedro, who said she did tell officials that she had two children on the day of her arrest — and that it was only when she told ICE agents again that action was taken to release her. According to ABC, Ana’s case is still pending, meaning she still has to face an immigration judge to determine if she is to be deported or not. Ana’s husband remains in custody.
The two both worked — on different shifts in order to balance childcare commitments — at a Koch Foods plant in Morton, Miss., according to ABC. They were among the 680 people who were arrested by ICE on Aug. 7 at plants throughout Mississippi, now considered the largest state-wide workplace raid in history (https://www.justice.gov/usao-sdms/pr/largest-single-state-worksite-enforcement-action-nation-s-history-conducted-ice-and-doj).

Do you make these posts every time a parent gets separated from their children for any other criminal activity? Why is trespassing any different?

Are you saying that when the parents are arrested for any crime that it is ok that the children are to be left to fend for themselves?

I'm saying that I don't see you making posts about children being separated from their parents when their parents commit tax fraud, or theft, or whatever.

The OP begs the question: are these adults actually the "parents" or are they among the vast numbers who RENT children in order to game the system.

Also, why are we not reading sob stories about child trafficking by the drug cartels who, along with George Soros, are behind the rampant lawbreaking?

Why are we not reading sob stories about the vast majority of women who are raped on their way to the land of free health care, free education, free cell phones and food stamps?

Why are we not reading sob stories about the parents, siblings, spouses and children who are PERMANENTLY separated when their loves ones are murdered by lawbreaking illegal aliens?

The answer is that the controlled media only publish sob stories which advance their false narratives with the ultimate goal of destroying what is left of the USA.

Even though Central America is dangerous, I'm sorry, that doesn't justify putting children's lives in danger crossing a violence and drug-riddled northern Mexico.

Anyone who comes here legally by the right way to escape poverty and violence is doing something good.

But none of these lawbreakers deserve an iota of sympathy.

There was nothing to indicate that the here described were anything but the children of the parents who said that they were. They were left to fend for themselves.

I have heard of cнιℓd тrαffιcking by criminal organizations but these were not those children.

Where they are coming from must be really bad if these women are willing to put themselves through the trauma of being raped to come here.

There is no free health care in the USA.
To be well educated requires a lot of work on the part of the student.

I have also heard stories about undocuмented people being murdered in cold blood and I have seen a very callous attitude toward the family members of such people

Who are your friends? I know no one who would have "a callous attitude" toward the family members of someone who is murdered.

There is no free health care in the USA.

California will soon make history as the state is set to become the first in the nation to give free healthcare to some illegal immigrants.
Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democrats in the state legislature reached an agreement to allow low-income individuals between the ages of 19 and 25 who are in the country illegally to be eligible for Medi-Cal, the state’s Medicaid program.

They were left to fend for themselves.
If the children of lawbreakers are abandoned by their parents, it is the fault of the parents who are being held accountable for their lawbreaking behavior. How does it become "our" problem?

It is our problem in the same way that orphans become our problem.

Orphans of one nation are the responsibility of their own nation.
Lawbreaking behavior (breaking into and entering a nation illegally when legal processes are available) should not be rewarded.
The wards of the state are the responsibility of their own nation.
Do you somehow feel morally superior to those with whom you disagree?

When you take the someone's children away from them you become responsible for the wellbeing of those children.

I don’t agree here.  These illegals were working.  Children should never be separated by families.  Many of these people are Catholics and traditionalists should be outreaching to them before novus ordo corrupts them with modernism and sloth.  The fault lies with our greedy evil politicians and communist clergy and hierarchy who have encouraged these people to come to USA.  Why did that plant hire these people because they can’t find people to work.  Millennials don’t want to work.  And others are on drugs, drunk etc.  many people are able to work but many are on disability when they shouldn’t be including white people.
Many government agencies have been involved in child sex trafficking.   ICE needs to stop being cowards and go into sanctuary cities where the illegals are on welfare and are doing human trafficking and drugs.  It sounds to me they just wanted easy bust.  ICE should do their jobs and start going after these moslems who are here illegally or are traitors likely who are like the Muslim Congresswoman who married her brother...

What is happening at the border is an invasion and most of those people are coming in to vote and get paid. They aren’t asylum seekers.  And a lot of problems in South America is because of USA. Hollywood and politicians need their drugs laced parties with human traffic victims.  Some of Hollywood are buddies of these drug dealers.
