Chaldean Catholic Patriarch Louis Raphael Sako of Baghdad argues that military action against the Islamic State is justified.

“In these circuмstances, making war is legitimate,” writes the Chaldean leader, in a new book, Stronger than Terror: The Christians of the Middle East and the Violence of ISIS. Saying that Pope Francis has recognized the need for action, the Patriarch says: “It is self-defense.”

The Islamic State is dedicated to the eradication of Christianity, the Iraqi prelate writes. At the same time, he assures readers, many Christians are ready to sacrifice—even to lay down their lives—to preserve their faith.

The Patriarch’s book bitterly criticizes the US for invading Iraq, destabilizing the country, and allowing for the rise of the Islamic State. In a related development, Cardinal Fernando Filoni, the prefect of the Congregation for Evangelization, has released a new book of his own, recounting the history of Christianity in Iraq. The cardinal’s book traces the origins of the Iraqi Church to the preaching of St. Thomas the apostle.

Explaining the purpose of the book, Cardinal Filoni said: "Knowing the history of Christianity in the Middle East and especially Mesopotamia -- now Iraq-- is not an idle cultural extravaganza, but an approach that helps us to understand the reasons and the dramatic events of that region and appreciate life, culture, witness of faith and the reasons for Christians to be attached to their land, but also the hatred of their enemies.”

Must this all be broken down for you in the year 2015? I guess so judging by your post.
The war in the Middle East is only to benefit Israel. It was planned for decades. All of Iraqs Oil is being shipped to Haifa Israel.
To do so, they must also fracture the ethnic groups, hence ISIS-Israeli Secret Intelligence Service and the so called attacks on the Christians there, all being carried out by Israeli led and backed forces.

Netanyahu says Iraq-Israel oil line not pipe-dream

Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he expects an oil pipeline from Iraq to Israel to be reopened in the near future after being closed when Israel became a state in 1948.

"It won't be long when you will see Iraqi oil flowing to Haifa," the port city in Northern Israel, Netanyahu told a group of British investors, declining to give a timetable.
"It is just a matter of time until the pipleline is reconstituted and Iraqi oil will flow to the Mediterranean."

Netanyahu later told Reuters the government is in the early stages of looking into the possibility of reopening the pipeline, which during the British Mandate sent oil from Mosul to Haifa via Jordan. "It's not a pipe-dream," Netanyahu said.

In April, Infrastructure Ministry told Reuters Israel and Jordan would hold talks on reopening the pipeline, which Israel believes would lower fuel costs by 25 percent.
The source said that the Israeli section of the pipeline was in good condition but did not know about the Jordanian section.

Jordanian officials denied they would meet Israeli officials, citing cold relations with the Jєωιѕн State since the outbreak of a Palestinian uprising in late 2000.

Separately, Netanyahu told reporters that British Finance Minister Gordon Brown asked that Israel consider buying natural gas from British Gas, which found gas off the Gaza coast.

"I told him we would consider it as an auxillary supplier to other suppliers," Netanyahu said. "We always want to diversify. But I want an understanding there would be no political pressure."

Israel had planned to buy its natural gas from Israeli suppliers, which discovered commercial quantities of gas off Israel's coast, and from Egypt.

But earlier this month Egypt said it wanted to renegotiate its contract, prompting Israeli officials to believe Egypt did not want to sell to Israel.'

A just war would be pretty much any armed Catholic uprising in any western nation now-a-days, except 'maybe' Russia.

The truly just war would be a war to once again, free the Holy Land and extirpate the Pagans and Satanists who oppress the Christian brethren there, and who have made global war against Christ and His Church.

This to commence upon the removal of all of their agents and influence from the Vatican itself.
