A huge majority of Americans view Iran’s nuclear program as a “critical threat,” alongside the North Korean nuclear program and “international terrorism,” according to a poll released Monday. The Gallup poll found that 99 percent of Americans believe the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program is a threat “to the vital interests of the United States in the next ten years,” with 83% saying it was a “critical threat” and another 16% saying it was an “important, [but] not critical” one. Just 1% declined to say it was at least an important threat."

I find it hard to believe iran is a serious threat to us or even israel. Yet, this poll says 99% of americans do. Are Gallup Polls credible?

This is because that most American are glued to the TV and other
mass media propaganda.
What about Israel's 2000 and more nukes and is a non signature
to the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty, in which Iran is?
Have you heard of the Sampson Option? look it up.
There is a very few critical thinking out there because of the
constant brainwashing.

Good point. Apparently "the sampson option" is israel's nuclear deterrent strategy. Simply stated, they'll destroy their neighbors and themselves in the process, if need be, to prevent their being conquered.

(spell check just detected when the word israel wasn't capitalized, but it didn't when I tried if for words like syria, jordan and russia)

As usual the mainstream and neoconservative media has been trying to get a war on Iran since 9/11.

Neoconservatives are mostly Jєωιѕн and have an obsession with Israel and Israeli interests. It is within Iran's interest and ours to come to an accord and end the cold war between our nations.

Let me say this: those of us who predicted the war on Iraq would be a catastrophe were proven right, just as those of us who are again predicting any war on Iran would be a catastrophe are going to be proven right.

Meanwhile we have the same war drummers who wanted war with Iraq, wanting war with Iran, even though they have been not only proven wrong, but they brought the deaths to thousands of American soldiers in a useless war, and more than 100,000 dead Iraqis over lies that there were WMDs and ties to Al Qaeda.

Are we really going to be fooled yet again by these same neoconservatives whose insanity knows no bounds? If so the American people deserve what is going to come to them.
