    CNN News (02/24/2017)

CNN and other news outlets were blocked Friday from an off-camera White House press briefing, raising alarm among media organizations ... The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times and Politico were also excluded from the meeting, which is known as a gaggle and is less formal than the televised Q-and-A session in the White House briefing room. The gaggle was held by White House press secretary Sean Spicer. ...

The Associated Press and Time magazine boycotted the briefing because of how it was handled.
The White House Correspondents Association also protested the move. ...

In a separate statement, New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet wrote, "Nothing like this has ever happened at the White House in our long history of covering multiple administrations of different parties. We strongly protest the exclusion of The New York Times and the other news organizations. ...".

  • Poor snowflakes!
"This principle is most certain: The non-Christian cannot in any way be Pope. The reason for this is that he cannot be head of what he is not a member. Now, he who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian, as is clearly taught by St. Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, and others. Therefore, the manifest heretic cannot be Pope." -- St. Robert Bellarmine

  • Just to add: The White House is under NO obligation to accommodate VFCNN, MSNBC, The New York Slimes, The Washington Compost, or any of the other various arms of the Demonrat Party that masquerade as "legitimate" media outlets. The problem with those idiots is that they think they're the ONLY media. I think the White House should issue press credentials to some Podunk paper and then have Spicer call on its rep at a future presser. THEN, watch their heads spin!
