His words are good and true but his speech is not convincing. He is very, very uncomfortable. His breathing laboured, his reads every words, barely looking straight ahead. Melania looks very stiff. No nativity scene, just that light “tree”.

That tells me that something BIG is coming and they will have to go into hiding.

This is wonderful.  I've said it before and I'll say it now, I just have this hunch, one day Donald Trump is going to become a Catholic.

Complicated and flawed though he is --- who of us isn't? (and I direct that first of all to myself) --- I see reason to hope.

It may happen when he is brought low enough in life --- by ultimately losing this travesty of an election, health issues connected with age and unwholesome lifestyle (though I would have to applaud his abstemious habits, no alcohol, tobacco, or drugs, even if I were an opponent of his), possibly the loss of his marriage --- to realize what in life really matters, and what is just straw.

Sometimes, that's what it takes.
