  • Fr. Pierpaolo Maria Petrucci is reported to have resigned (after having been requested to do so by Menzingen) as district superior of Italy, after having read some sources, this may very well be because of his not wanting a deal with Rome.

Fr. Alain-Marc Nély, second assistant to the Superior General will function as interim district superior.

What is to become of Fr. Pierpaolo Maria Petrucci?  Is he going to be transferred somewhere?

Has Fr. Petrucci made public statements about not wanting a deal with Rome?

Conciliar apostasy is not a crime in the world of SSPXism, however, disagreeing with it or taking note of it is.

  • Petrucci looks to be a "dyed-in-the-wool", SSPX team player, so what could have gone wrong?

(From five years ago) Source: Eponymous Flower

Father Pierpaolo Maria Petrucci has been named by the General House as the new Superior of the Italian District of the Society of St. Pius X. Father Petrucci was born in 1962 on the Adriatic coast in Rimni.

In 1981 he graduated from High School and enter the Priestly Seminary of Econe. Six years later he was ordained a a Catholic priest by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre. At first he was active for five years as an educator at the Boys Gymnasium "Etoile du Matin" in Bitche (Lothringen). Then he was a Director of Spiritual Excercises in Italy from 1993 as pastor in various priories in France (Priory "St. Regis" in Unieux near Lyon, then Prior of St Louis in Nantes in der Vendée). In 2005 he was the Prior of the Priory of Nantes, the largest operation in the Society after Paris, and Dean of the Society for northwest France. In 2008 he returned back to Italy and took over the priory of "Our Dear Lady of Loretto" in Rimni at the request of the District Superior.

As late as this November, he was playing the SSPX game, by lipping protest of the Francis/Lutheran love fest.

As with SSPX, Fr. Christian Bouchacourt who collaborated with him in the superficial protest, neither priest would have said a word publicly, unless Menzingen had approved it.

Maybe Petrucci, got disgusted with the whole masonic game?

"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

    Maybe he'll join the Resistance.

There is nothing in this about a forced resignation.

Does anyone have an actual link reporting this claim?

I've been told that this issue has nothing to do with doctrine, hence the above link I posted is irrelevant. It seems that the Superior of France also made a similar statement.

  • Does that mean he was not forced to resign? Or that he was forced to resign, but not because he objected to the Halloween Luther celebration?

SSPX District Superior for Italy Objects to Scandal in Sweden

Written by Don Pierpaolo Maria Petrucci, SSPX District Superior for Italy

On Sunday 30th October a strong earthquake destroyed the basilica built in Norcia on the site of the birthplace of Saint Benedict, only leaving intact its façade. The photos which show this sad event are emblematic and symbolic of a Christian Europe, of which Saint Benedict is the Patron, but which is repudiating its own roots. These photos are even more-so symbolic of a Church which is gutting itself of its contents, concealing the ruins behind a media façade which cannot deceive those who love the Spouse of Christ and know doctrine and history.

The visit of Pope Francis to Sweden to commemorate the 500th anniversary of Luther’s revolt, whose errors caused the loss of thousands of souls and provoked wars which ravaged Europe, is only the latest glaring confirmation of this. How can one declare oneself to be “profoundly grateful for the spiritual and theological gifts received through the Reformation”, thanking God for this, as happened in the ecumenical liturgy of Lund? How can one say that “Lutherans and Catholics have wounded the visible unity of the Church” without betraying one’s Faith? To thank God for the spread of heresy is tantamount to attributing evil to God Himself, with a truly blasphemous act.

Faced with this umpteenth scandal one cannot remain silent, especially if one has an important role in the ecclesiastical hierarchy, since he who remains silent consents and makes himself an accomplice.

    Cari Confratelli,

    Cari Fedeli,

    Dear Brothers,

    Dear Faithful,

To clarify the rumors that are circulating for several days in the company (social ?media) I see forced me to send you this letter, to be read in our various centers Mass on Sunday January 1, 2017 and subsequently published on the site.

Following a canonical visitation, carried out in 2015 and a subsequent audit in 2016, having confirmed the difficulties in the District management, difficulties that dragged on for some time, creating tensions between the majority of the Brothers, His Excellency Msgr. Fellay decided to raising Don Petrucci from the post of Superior, according to the norms of canon law.

This decision does not want to put the slightest doubt on the honesty and zeal of Don Pierpaolo during the years of his tenure, but it was necessary for the common good of the District.

Don Petrucci (will) leave Italy in February, pending a new appointment. He hoped that this change did in peace and had asked me to delay its announcement in (to) late January.

Having been myself Superior from 2004 to 2006, His Excellency Msgr. Fellay has appointed me for a specified time as head of the government of the Italian District, pending the appointment of the new Superior.

We count on the cooperation of all, despite the legitimate sorrow that such a decision can cause, and I assure you of my priestly dedication to continue, with the help of my brothers, the development of our apostolate and to carry through the various projects planned for the year 2017, (to) the extent (measure) of our ability.

Wishing you a holy New Year, under the special protection of Our Lady of Fatima, I send you my blessing and I assure you of my prayers for all your intentions.

    Don Marco Nely +

    My additions in brackets.

  • It is frightening to me how often I have heard SSPX priests and the upper-echelon leadership utter the words "for the common good" recently.

There is nothing Catholic about that phrase, although it does sound a LOT like communism to me.

It seems the "common good" these days refers to whatever Bp. Fellay wants.

Want to speak out against the Pope and his blasphemous acts of ecumenism in Lund, Sweden celebrating Martin Luther's "gifts" to the Faith? You're outta here! And what's more, we'll imply you committed "financial mismanagement" on your way out the door!

  • Did you not read Fr. Pertucci's statement on the Pope's visit to Lund and the Martin Luther "celebration" published by The Remnant??

Did you not read Fr. Nely's letter? Nothing in there about "health problems." Just an insinuation that he mismanaged money (re: audit) and that he ticked off his "brother priests" (re: Bp. Fellay).

    Therein lies the truth.
