  • Does anyone besides me suspect that things might shake up a bit after August 15, when the various SSPX transfers are done?

Speaking of "the storm" we just had a quarter inch of rainfall in Los Angeles.

First rain in what, 5 months?  The same week that a UCLA water main broke sending a bajillion gallons of precious fresh water into the ocean, in the middle of a 3-year drought (so far)............

P.S.  This is the first day in 2014 when I've had my air conditioner running at 2:00 am because it's like a sauna outside, 85 degrees and 100% humidity.  EEEKK.

The newsletter for the GB District says that Fr. Walliez, formerly District Superior of the Benelux countries, is to become Prior of the SSPX Priory at Athlone in Ireland.

The incumbent of the GB District is coming to the end of his tenure in a year's time. I wonder whether the then Prior of Athlone will become the new District Superior for GB, and what implications that might have for the priests and the faithful there.

  • if the sspx keep hemorraging people, as they are, there will be very little left in ireland, so any prior will be irrelevant.

To my knowledge, the 'hemorragers' from the chapels in Ireland did so based on the propaganda of 'the Resistance.' Not one can claim to have heard a single word in their Masses or devotions other than has been the norm of Tradition since we were born. Not satisfied to just leave and hope to get a Mass now and again, they did and do their best to get others to protest by leaving the chapels.

As it was the numbers attending barely kept the chapels open by way of costs, and with less attending now it could result in some of these chapels closing for good.

Indeed some good friends of ours not only left the chapels they attended for years, to probably sit at home on Sunday mornings now, but severed that friendship built up mainly on a mutual love of Tradition.

For me, and others, this is the work of the Devil, no doubt about that. I never thought I would see the day 'traditionalists' would fill forum threads gloating over the possible destruction of the only refuge I and others have left in Ireland.

  • As a member of the congregation of the Athlone priory a great deal of us are none to pleased with this appointment. We will not stand for any liberal rubbish and will make our protest known if he says anything offensive to our faith and sensitivities. All I ask in return is for your prayers that we do the right thing and stay faithful to that Tradition that Archbishop Lefebvre so eloquently passed on and defended all his life. God bless you all.

  • Hello fellow sister and brothers -

I am wondering what is there to resist as regards the SSPX ?

Are there people who attend the SSPX that actually believe that anti-pope Francis is a real pope ?

I am not trying to be rude or gruff ... it is just that it seems so obvious that Francis is not a catholic and that leaves a person having to face the fact that God is an infinite spirit who allows his name and son to be violated so severely and haphazardly by human beings; that to treat this one and only true god with such ignorance and disrespect - How can someone not tremble to be judged by such a pure and strict spirit ?

Thanks for your help in understanding.

  • Don't worry about Rome.  Ireland as a nation is being taken over by financial invaders aka melting pot.  Many true Irish have left to Germany , Canada and Australia for work leaving Churches and towns without Irish.  Liberals are taking over with the euro, abortion, suicides, drugs.  Many are leaving the NO and going to evangelical tractor and farm festivals.

What kind of shake up do you mean?  Sorry to be so thick-headed but I don't quite follow your train of thought.

    That's not a bad question.

I thought Matthew was talking about the liberal push in the XSPX would perhaps accelerate after the Assumption, since that's when the transfers have been done in recent years.  You know what we mean by "transfers," don't you?

Also, there have been no announcements of transfers in the offing, but you can be absolutely certain that Menzingen already knows what they're going to do.  They like to be secretive and catch people by surprise all the time, because that makes them feel powerful.  B**t*rd*.

Remember, the REVOLUTION consists of two steps forward, one step back.  (Repeat...)
We have just emerged from the "one step back" phase,
and so now it's time for the "two steps forward."

    2 Steps Forward = "Shake-Up"

In the past, the transfers have been a minor controversy, but they have never UNDONE one after a lot of criticism from the Faithful.  It seems to me you can pretty much anticipate what kind of forward PUSH they may have in mind by the controlled propaganda that they spout in advance, just to see if everyone will 'TAKE IT' ahead of time.  They never tell you examples of what they mean by "Internet rumour" so you can never be absolutely sure what it is they're talking about.  That's information warfare BTW.

What they have done is slam down with their heavy-handed Machiavellian power play tactics, threatening to punish anyone who dares to oppose them.  They're TERRIFIED of the Resistance because it's starting to form into an organized enemy.  They are extremely vulnerable to organized opposition.  So they fear the truth being made public.

They play a well-thought-out game that entails subterfuge, spies, informants and numerous lemmings with a few key leaders:  that's an example of the TRUTH that they do not want to be let out of the cage.  They do not publicize who their leaders are.  That would be suicide.  Some of them may well have been members, at least for a while here on CI.

I suspect that they have used CI as a proving ground, sending their agents in here to try out talking points to see what works and how it is opposed.  That's why we can't be engaged with trolls who keep harping the same battle language laced with lies, because by doing that, we give the Menzingen-denizens the answers they need to see popping up so they can plan their attacks around what we respond here.

In  the end, the place most of us have is to just pray our daily Rosaries and keep asking for God's grace, because we need it more now than ever before.
