“Over two millennia ago, a new hope was born into the world, a Savior who would offer the promise of salvation to all mankind. Just as the three wise men did on that night, this Christmas heralds a time to celebrate the good news of a new King."
They are denying that they meant Trump by this, but it's hard to deny by saying "new King".
The President of the United States is not a king.
Since they're openly denying the "new king" is Trump, and Priebus literally referred to Our Lord with "over two millennia ago... a Savior who would offer the promise of salvation to all mankind...the three wise men," as Catholics who pray for the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ, we ought not presume that this little quip isn't a kind of opening of the door for our prayers to be answered. Perhaps Reince Priebus is innocently prophesying the advent of what we Catholics have been storming heaven for ever since Pope Pius XI wrote his encyclical Quas Primas
In any event, the courage and FORTITUDE of Mr. Priebus to utter such ominous words on the record is nothing short of astounding. It ought to evoke our admiration, not our disdain!
Just think, if the witch had won, do you think any one of her new Cabinet would have dared to say anything CLOSE to this?
We have been granted A REPRIEVE in this presidential election, the magnitude of which is yet to be seen; but in the interim, we need only pause to consider how CLOSE we all came to the literal END of America as we know it.
God has granted us a second chance, which is an enormous blessing.
We ought to INCREASE our prayers for God's grace and thank Him for this miracle.
