  • After briefing another thread about fat prelates in the pre v2 church, I am compelled to post this.

The answer to the title: It is called ketosis(it is a state of sickness).  Here is a 10 minute video discussing facts about the saturated fat diet(meat, dairy, eggs) vs the traditional starch based diet(potatoes, grains, lentils, peas, beans) war.

BTW - Dr. Mcdougall is the absolute best!  Watch any and all of his videos.  He is a hammer.

  • At 4:35 of the video, he mentions about how the body exits ketosis by eating only a small amount of starches.  This is the natural reason as to why people think starches(carbs) make you fat.  The metabolic state ceases, and the fats instead store(you gain weight).

These diets are diametrically opposed.  You either going to get your energy from burning fat(ketosis), or are you going to get your energy from burning starches/sugar(plant based foods)  Therefore, man is a starchavore.  We do not even need to consider the other.

  • I understand that the USA has the worst food ever from all the contaminants and GMO's.  Diet plans on TV guarantee 5 lbs off the first week.  I see water retention as weight loss.  I see water retention from sugar and salt can be considered.  I wonder sometimes if it is fat or if it is water retention.  Water retention is also from artificial hormones, synthetics, that settle in the fats of animals  and I am thinking about the egg yolk.  Also consider women who have had sterilization/hysterectomy.  Those surgeries change the metabolism, which is sad but true.

For myself, I lose when I have good fats and carbs that are seeds/grains in small amount.  If I stay off breads, flours, sugar, I do myself a favor and lose weight.  I don't say fat, for I don't see what is taking place, but for sure, water loss.  I get more energy, staying off the sticky flours and the sugar.

My daughter can not have grains.  Her stomach just can't handle it, but I wonder if she could, if the grains were natural and not messed by man, if you get my drift.

  • Ketosis is not a state of sickness and eating too many carbs does make people fat.

  • Eating too much of anything will make you fat.

The question is why are so many Americans and those who "eat American" so unhealthy. as opposed to those who eat a diet of food that they have largely produced themselves. Recently I was in Madagascar and the fat people I saw there could have been counted on the fingers of one hand. The diet was basically rice and greens and manioca if you are very poor, Plenty of chickens running around and they do get eaten but not in very copious amounts and not that often.

Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,
Let it be what God has planned, His new Eden where You reign.

  • I understand, from reading, that baby shots can cause obesity.  Question is when does it begin and does it stay with the person through life.  It means something in the brain has been tampered with, hm?  This being the case, the gov't knows what it is  and of course they have the solution, and they tell the fast  food people what and how to do their business.  Sounds like Communism is in the veins of the gov't and people.

I am 63. When we were kids, we had the food not messed with.  We had lemon custard ice cream and it was real custard!!   Man, the people knew the commencement day!  They had it put in quarts and took it home.  Now of course, we are not allowed to have it.  Culvers claims to have custard, not near it!  We did not see chubby kids, not like you do today.  I stayed home carrying for our children and when I went to take on a job, on school buses, I saw very obese women driving the buses.  I felt small to them, even though I was 5 -10 over weight from the ideal.  But there are so many factors that can cause being overweight.  My heart goes out to them, especially when it is not understood why.

  • I help in the area of fertility.  I knew a woman who wanted a 3rd child.  She was having troubles becoming pregnant.  I asked for a daily chart of her fertile mucus and there was the problem.  She had mucus that went for 2 weeks, not the usual 5-6 days.  Her doctor told her, "I know you are carrying weight, but that should not be keeping you from becoming pregnant."  So, I told the wife, well, did your doctor ask you for the info I asked you for?  I explained, that from what I read, Estrogen is the hormone involved and you have too much, because it lasts for so long, that your period lasts almost to 45 days.  When the mucus stops, you need at least 7-10 days for a pregnancy to attach itself to the womb and there is not enough time and you could be losing pregnancies.

So, I said, that is my thoughts.  She said she had money coming and she decided to go Jenny Craig program.  She lost 30 lbs and her cycling went back to 30 days and became pregnant and THEY had a baby boy, to add to the 2 sisters.

Less synthetic estrogen?  Looks like it.  See, the gov't knows what devious things it can do and they try solutions.  The doctor in this case tries the Clomid for ovulating and I have seen doctors dish out Clomid/clomiphene like M & M's.  The PDR (physicians Desk Reference book) changes throughout the years. Clomiphene is very dangerous.  When used for the lst time to get pregnant, it works pretty good.  But the PDR says the 2nd time around is only a 50/50 chance!  I knew a lady who was trying for a 2nd child.  She was given the "C" and like M & M's.  She decided to get off the "C" and I told her to rebuild up her system, big time, because it could strip the body of all it's nutrients.  She did and THEY had a 2nd child!  That doctor told her to take the "C" because she appeared to be irregular!!  Come to find out, "C" works like radioactivity, which can bring on ovulation.

  • Songbird - China has a bad food problem.  I think theirs is worse than ours.  As for contaminants and gmos, that spells even worse for the meat, dairy, and egg eater.  Those contaminants and gmo's(which is more so in the animal feed), are stored up in the fat and cells of these animals that the mainstream pushes on us as the ideal and traditional diet.  And, it is a undisputed fact that the most common food allergies(other than the current new and unusual wheat sensitivity) are not found in the starchy/carb food category.  They are found in the fat categories - nuts/seeds(high in fat) and the saturated fat foods(dairy and eggs).  Nuts require cracking for a reason(so we don't eat too many).   And, civilizations can not live on animals, there is not enough supply.  Westerners need to take a hint.  Man is a starch eater.

  • Pharmacists came to AZ for a CE, to have lectures to keep up their licenses, in Nov. of 2014.  Those pharmacists sat with us for Dinner.  A women gave the lectures on the food in the USA.  One remark she made was that no rice should be eaten.  Even though packages state No GMO's she stated that rice is contaminated.  I don't recall her name, but I was given a site to go to.  These 2 pharmacists laughingly said, no more Rice Krispies for breakfast and they said, no more coffee.  Hm?  My concern is, if this is so about rice, that is the first food that is given to a baby.

  • Songbird - that is concerning.  I happen to know that non organic rice is off limits.   It is contaminated with gmos and arsenic(california is an exception).   I have had wheat sensitivities in the past, and so rice is a favorite.  I jump for joy when a local supermarket decides to carry an organic brown rice at a fair price(they are often overpriced).

But, things are changing for me.  I think that usa faithful should actually be eating more starchy vegetables(potatoes, yams, carrots) and more legumes.  Because, we have already lost the grain trade battle.  It is a thorn to have to eat my organic rice from asia.  I want to support my country, and eat usa.  I can do that with potatoes and legumes; I cannot always do that with grains.  Something has to change, and I have power over my taste buds.  So, that is the likely candidate.
