I help in the area of fertility. I knew a woman who wanted a 3rd child. She was having troubles becoming pregnant. I asked for a daily chart of her fertile mucus and there was the problem. She had mucus that went for 2 weeks, not the usual 5-6 days. Her doctor told her, "I know you are carrying weight, but that should not be keeping you from becoming pregnant." So, I told the wife, well, did your doctor ask you for the info I asked you for? I explained, that from what I read, Estrogen is the hormone involved and you have too much, because it lasts for so long, that your period lasts almost to 45 days. When the mucus stops, you need at least 7-10 days for a pregnancy to attach itself to the womb and there is not enough time and you could be losing pregnancies.
So, I said, that is my thoughts. She said she had money coming and she decided to go Jenny Craig program. She lost 30 lbs and her cycling went back to 30 days and became pregnant and THEY had a baby boy, to add to the 2 sisters.
Less synthetic estrogen? Looks like it. See, the gov't knows what devious things it can do and they try solutions. The doctor in this case tries the Clomid for ovulating and I have seen doctors dish out Clomid/clomiphene like M & M's. The PDR (physicians Desk Reference book) changes throughout the years. Clomiphene is very dangerous. When used for the lst time to get pregnant, it works pretty good. But the PDR says the 2nd time around is only a 50/50 chance! I knew a lady who was trying for a 2nd child. She was given the "C" and like M & M's. She decided to get off the "C" and I told her to rebuild up her system, big time, because it could strip the body of all it's nutrients. She did and THEY had a 2nd child! That doctor told her to take the "C" because she appeared to be irregular!! Come to find out, "C" works like radioactivity, which can bring on ovulation.
