I am the same for certain things. Kind of an obsessive personality.

It's a great thing that you could abandon smoking altogether.
I have to begin treating myself kinder. Along with this today I'm cutting out staying up late, caffeine, and sugar.

I am shaking, vomiting, feel sick, but it won't last forever. The rewards will greatly exceed the sacrifice as always.

Thank you Gray. Prayers are needed for tonight. May my suffering help support those in need.

Buddy I quit crack/cocaine, heroin, OxyContin, oxycodone, marijuana, Valium, vicadan, suboxone, methadone, lsd, mushrooms, and extreme amounts of alcohol and now you want to brow beat me for my last vice? My hand shredded organic tobacco? 😬 hahah I’ve felt pain beyond description! I thought I was going to die! I had wished I had. They say quitting nicotine is worse. I don’t know. But certainly the best way to get off any drug is to not ever take it in the first place. It’s a mad mad mad mad mad mad  world out here. Drugs were encouraged at my last job. We worked hours you wouldn’t believe until the owner died and the step son replaced us with Dominicans and Guatemalans. Now I’m starting life over at 40 from near 0. I went from 120,000$ a year to 18$ an hour 😆. Life is rough young man fly straight. Luckily I’ve learned some skills to boost that hourly rate a bit and supplement it. But quitting smokes is definitely on the back burner for a little bit.

Health issues and other problems associated with cigarette smoking are attributable to multitudinous chemicals placed in tobacco by manufacturers. They are chemically designed to be "addictive". Consider growing your own tobacco - I do, all natural. It's not that difficult and you do not even need a large garden to do it. Grow in pots. Also, nicotine as such has plenty of benefits - insecticide, etc.
