As for the physical peace, understand that you will not die one second sooner or later than God planned so to worry about that can't help, only hurt.
This is wrong. What God plans and what He allows for you are two separate dynamics. If a person ignores God and continues in sin, which is
not God's plan for you, and you die as a result of sin or pursuant in sin, then God allowed that you die but it wasn't His plan for you. His plan was for you to know, serve and love Him and to die in the state of grace so you may be with Him for eternity. Likely, you were to have a longer life in your service to God.
The Lord tells us in the Bible that
people perish for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). That's not God's plan but He allows it because people reject God and rely on their own understanding and worldliness to navigate through life. Woe is theirs.
People making utterly dumb decisions and behaving stupidly are not protected from dying sooner than what God has planned for them. People must choose God and act on what He plans for them. That's when people will not die one second sooner or later than what He has ordained for them.
