I'm just curious about how the opinions here break down.  Not necessarily looking for discussion, as this topic has been beaten to death on many other threads here.

I personally have become convinced that the so-called COVID-19 symptoms are caused by 5G running at 60GHz.

If there was an option:  "Not sure about COVID-19, but whatever it is, it certainly didn't justify anything that was done in its name", I'd choose it.  Of the options given, I guess 1 or 2 come closest to my best guess.

Right, I think that 99% of us agree that even IF there were such a thing, the reaction was not justified and was likely part of a deliberate plan to control people and cripple the economy (also a form of control).

I don't disagree.  Of these people coming down with illness and dying from something, what do you think was causing it if not a virus.

From something? All kinds of causes. E.g. driving too fast.
From a cold and related symptoms (while possibly also being treated in hospital for two or more other illnesses)? All the well known causes for catching a cold or more severe respiratory symptoms.

This is how I understand it,
Covid-19 isn’t a scam, it’s the name of the agenda. And the masks are the symbol of compliance with covid-19, and the NWO takeover.
Corona virus is a real virus, one that has many strains, and someone with pre-existing conditions can die from complications in combination with corona.

I was going to say all that already. I completely agree with Carissima.

I have two main theories that I give roughly equal likelihood to:

1. The rulers of the world wanted to create the "pandemic" this year, so they just had their scientists look through all the flu strains that were circulating at the beginning of last flu season and identify the one that seemed the worst, and decided to tell everyone that that one was the killer plague. This seems very likely to me, as COVID-19 seems slightly more severe than the average flu, so this seems to fit the best to me.

2. They released it from a lab last winter, either after synthesizing it or having found it in nature and kept it on ice until they wanted to use it.

I'd give each of those theories about a 49% likelihood each. The remaining 2% I assign collectively to the various "fringe" theories, such as:

a) that there is no unique virus that causes COVID-19
b) that it is caused by 5g (sorry Lad)
c) that it really is as bad as the news media tells us and this whole situation actually does make complete sense with the lockdowns and everything, and the perfect timing for the November election is just a huge stroke of good luck for the masons
d) that the virus came from outer space (yes this is a theory, and a rather intriguing one, that most disease outbreaks happen during periods of low sun-spot activity, and penetrate the atmosphere from outer space. I don't think it's likely though).
e) other various and sundry

So it sounds like you don't believe there is a "novel coronavirus" that leads to COVID.

I guess it's the same procedure as was with HIV/AIDS. The invent a new "virus" and a new name for a disease, and then take a list of traditional diseases and symptoms and paste the new label on them all.

I think the nursing home deaths were a completely different entity from the flu like symptoms the community was reporting. The elderly patients in the nursing homes are ALL pumped full of multiple vaccines every year - pneumonia, meningitis ,flu, shingles, you name it. Along with 5G there may have been a binary component for their deaths.  The blood clotting symptoms in the nursing homes mimic radiation poisoning to a "T". Just think of the billions of dollars saved in Social Security alone by bumping off the useless eaters. This is what happiness looks like to Bill Gates.
