I cannot believe I... did this to my child!

Up-date from Kerri in response to my request for more information:

Kash is 14 months. It took 4 doctors in the PICU to be told that it was because of his MMR before we got one to listen to us. As soon as that one doctor listened, it caught like wildfire! His ped. is WONDERFUL and is fully supportive. We have both already filed the vaccine incident report. Within 3 days of submitting it the agency already contacted my son's doctor asking for details.

Kash is doing much better. He had his severe reaction on July 4th and we spent 2 weeks in the hospital. During our hospital stay he suffered 7 more seizures (he NEVER had seizures prior to this vaccine!) and is now on 2 different medications to stop seizures. We also believe that because of the seizures, Kash suffered a stroke. He regressed back to an infant and is having to re-learn everything. After being extubated, he couldn't even hold his own head up or roll over. Now he is crawling around, sitting up, etc. Prior to this vaccine though, he was RUNNING, jumping, talking! I have not hear one word from my son since JULY 4th!! =(

We are heading up to Children's Mercy on the 16th in hopes of getting some answers. Currently we are going to physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy 2-3 times a week as well as going to his doctor, the physical rehab doctor, neurologists, the list goes on and on.

I wish I would have done my research! I have 5 kids and NEVER thought we would become a statistic. I guarantee you that we will NEVER vaccinate our children (ANY of them) again!!!

Also, I have already started keeping a diary of daily progress/set backs. =) My husband's cousin is a lawyer that deals with malpractice and is going to help us with filing for compensation. I cannot begin to imagine what all of this is going to cost us. You cannot put a price tag on my child though, and I am SO thankful that he is alive!!See More
So-called health authorities would have us believe that vaccines are safe, yet when pushed, they admit that serious adverse reactions do occur, but only at a rate of "one in a million" children. When they are confronted with evidence to the contrary, the...y may come up with the excuse that "the benefits far outweight the risks," and anyway, these reactions are likely to be just a "coincidence,' or at best what they refer to as "anecdotal evidence." They literally get away with murder, or at least mansalughter. Anyone looking for vaccine injuries will find it everywhere: the harm vaccines cause is widespread, ranging from mlld to severe, including death. I received a mail from a mother today which said: "My son, who is now 36, was vaccine-injured as a child; he screamed for a day or more, after inoculations. The doctor told me it was normal. Horrible memories. We do not know the full extent of the damage, but he suffered learning disabilities. I ended up homeschooling him, rather than keep him in school." Some babies scream for hours after they have been vaccinated, a sign that they are suffering from vaccine-induced encephalitis, which is the medical term for inflammation of the brain, an affliction which may result in mild to severe neurological disorders. Some babies or infants rub their head with their hands to ease their discomfort, or they rub their head against the side of their cot, because of the pain or discomfort they experience. Yet, because this happens quite often, doctors or nurses consider it "normal"! This is the state of medical so-called science as regards the effects of vaccinations on children! They even have a French scientific name for babies' high- pitched screaming after they have been jabbed: "Cri encephalique" - "brain-related screaming' (!)
