TYT arguments against are not realistic. The food will definitely be more nutritious than what most people eat. That is guaranteed. And, the government is definitely not going to drive this food and deliver to peoples door, which would offset the savings gained made by wholesale purchasing. So, we can forget about that. It will probably just been a foodbank type of thing. Where the food must be picked up by the recipients at the gov charity warehouse. And, lastly, poor people do not need special food because of their infirmities or impediments like diabetes. No more expensive fake food for people advertised as medicine. People can start eating simple common food. If not, they can just go ahead and die. People have been abusing food stamps for far too long. This could be a huge improvement in our country and economy. Godspeed to president Trump on this.
The key that will make this successful is the limiting of what the people can get with the food services. The gov should limit the food to healthy simple food. No more unhealthy lucky charm or coco puff cerial for kids. Kids will start eating wheaties like adults. Maybe I am ignorant, but I think food stamps can purchase any type of food. I recall seeing a video where abusers were using it to buy expensive sushi, and it was on a national tv docuмentary advertising stamps used as such.
