    Science has morphed into a cult for some. They believe in scientists like high priests -- taking their word as dogma, rather than scientific hypotheses to be duly doubted and re-tested via the Scientific Method.

    I have to shake my head when I see all the science-cultists seeking higher meaning in life from foolish sources. They become quite credulous about nonsense like "free energy", solar panels in sidewalks/roads, quantum computing, etc. They think science is omnipotent -- it can do anything, given enough time.
