There are two nuclear plants in between two fault lines, and one of them is the San Andreas, the one that has the potential to create the legendary Big One.  These plants aren't smack-dab on the fault lines but near enough for me to want to get out of the state.

I am getting ahead of myself on this idea of Japan being destroyed.  The problem with predicting these things is you start to wish for it to happen so you can say you were right.  No one can really say how bad the radiation leak is or how it will affect Tokyo, but there is certainly reason to be worried.  Better just to pray and hope for the best, all I can say is that if I were there I'd try to get out of the country.

I have had that pre-deluge feeling for so long now, watching zombie-like people shuffling around in Target, looking at the spiritual void out there.

Still, when you see it really beginning, when you consider an ancient civilization is possibly on the verge of extinction...  "Many nations will be annihilated."  A concise and matter-of-fact statement to describe an incomprehensible truth.  We are living in the most epochal times since the death of Christ.
The human mind can't even come close to comprehending what we're living through or how big it really is, just like it can't comprehend the sacrifice of Christ except through a glass darkly.

You know, I have the same feeling about the zombie element. I was at Costco today at the pharmacy, and noticed Claritan went up like about $5.00 from the last time I bought it, and I was saying something like, "Wow, it's really gone up."--I didn't say that in a mean way or anything. But neither person behind the counter would even acknowledge what I said. They wouldn't look me in the eye, just shook their heads and mumbled under their breath, "No, it didn't." It was as if I didn't exist. It was the strangest thing. Both of them were like that, like zombies.
