Lifetime gyms distribute a bimestrial magazine on health topics. Many of the issues are quite well done. The March/April 2026 issue was entirely on food. I have attached the article "The Lure of Hyperpalatable Foods," the last page of which offers solutions to the problems presented by hyperpalatable foods.

We are seduced into usury and consumerism; dietary consumerism included. As with usury, I encourage all to break free.

The entire modern modern rat race lifestyle is counter to Natural Law.  It’s addicting and destruction of good health.  It’s about a lot more than eating too much food.  If that were all, very few fat folks would be seen zipping around Walmart on their “More of me tho Love” scooters!  Given a choice between Ozempic, the Wally’s World scooter, or sitting home waiting for the merch to ne delivered, what’s best?  Ozempic is a cardio toxin, the scooter keeps a user mentally and somewhat physically what engaged. Having thr dtluff delivered can be done by a few finger strokes via AI while asleep.

You’re so right. Just having things at the click of a button delivered, not having to make any effort. People don’t cook from scratch anymore. I’m trying to cook from scratch, there are so many chemicals added to food, unpronounceable things, I don’t just mean white sugar which I know is bad but at least it’s identifiable.

The video explains how different genese can altar fat storage / energy usage, how famine and obesity effect pregnant women. Weight loss drugs do have serious side effects.

I hope you watch the video.
I will. Thanks for sharing. It seems what a mother eats while pregnant and if she’s overweight can affect the unborn baby in the future.

What really is behind obesity? People eat too much. They overeat. They have no idea how much they should eat during the day. They crave love and they get it from Snickers bars. They are bored and potato chips come to the rescue. They feel anxious and pressured, and so they medicate with margaritas and Mexican appetizers. They are embarrassed that they don't have a date Friday night, and so they interact with pizza. They love watching television, sports, and movies, but they love these things even more if they can do chips and dips, beers, and chocolate at the same time. That's it. Common sense teaches us this.

Modernity equals psychological destabilization equals obesity.
Not always true. I lost a lot of weight due to health issues. Dr. has ordered me to gain weight. I now eat more than I want to eat and am unable to gain.
