  • They went to the Coliseum to see the blood "Are you not entertained!" People watch Nascar to see the crash. Some people come here to watch the fights. Others delight to see users banned. Let's give the people what they want.

The user: Johannes, stands accused of the following:
    Being arrogant
    Calling others arrogant
    Being prideful
    Being an ego-manic
    Being audacious
    Calling others audacious
    Being a sanctimonious a$$hole
    Being bad-willed
    Calling others bad-willed
    Being obnoxious
    Being myopic
    Over-complicating things
    Being a liar
    Accusing others of self-deception
    Being a troll
    Being a mole
    Being a plant
    Being a crypto-Jєω
    Being confusing
    Being MarkM
    Spreading confusion
    Making bad jokes
    Making stupid jokes
    Making too many jokes
    Making too many polls
    Making stupid polls
    Making irrelevant comments/posts
    Being willfully blind
    Calling others willfully blind
    Being too silly
    Being too fickle
    Playing games
    Being rude
    Arguing too much
    Arguing about the wrong things
    Spreading confusion
    Asking too many questions
    Asking the wrong questions
    Not answering questions
    Acting like the pope
    Thinking he is the pope
    Suspect of being an antipope
    Judging the pope
    Judging forum users
    Destroying the hierarchy
    Destroying the Church
    Being too opiniated
    Being too pushy
    Being annoying
    Spreading corrupting opinions
    Smelling like sh1t
    Wasting his time
    Wasting the forum's time
    Posting too many threads
    Using inconsistent fonts
Posting too many memes of Francis
    Creating problems
    Causing division
    Being a showboat
    Needing attention
    lacking precision
Placing this poll in Health and Nutrition
Calling some forum users spotted dogs (heretics) who eat their own feces
    Peeing in the pool
Sticking his gum under the picnic table
Punching a puppy in the face
Throwing a toddler's ice cream on the sidewalk
Stealing small change from a blind street performer
(Ok the last 3 I made up - but people think I am a liar anyway so...:jester:

Now here is what I propose:

    1) You may add ONE additional accusation to the list.
    OR
    2) you may design my tombstone signature for once/if I get banned.

You can only choose 1 of the above 2 options (don't be greedy).

Now the poll that I had with the most voter turnout had about 45 votes, so let's say I can get about 1/2 that in favor of being banned (about 23 votes).

Now I would guess Matthew could manipulate the voting to make the votes go up to that number, but assuming he lets this play out naturally - if I get the 23 votes - then that would trigger the ban.

The user's tombstone signature that gets the most upvotes will be selected as the winner to forever immortalize my infamy.

So, grab your pitchforks, get your friends, and let's get this lynching started...

P.S. As part of my last will and testament I bequeath to all of you, my newfound, but short-lived and beloved companions - this amazing collection of Polls that showcase my enduring commitment to excellence and learning - I trust they will prove useful for many future generations of CathInfo users.

P.S.S.S. seriously the last thing, if you would also like to make friendly bets on how long it will take to achieve the 23 votes and trigger the ban - that might be kind of fun too, so feel free to add that to your responses.

Thank you and God bless you all - Now begin!

  • You are such a weirdo.

But I didn't vote to have you banned. Sorry.

  • So, regardless of the results of this poll (and whether Matthew takes it under advisement) ... do you promise that this will end all [your] polls?

  • Well, I voted No, not to ban you, since if being annoying were grounds for banning, I would have been gone years ago ... so I'd be a hypocrite to vote Yes.

  • You forgot to add, "post's text is always too large." I don't vote at all in polls that serve no purpose, so I didn't vote in this one.

So, that means you do stick gum under the picnic table, since you've only disavowed the last 3.  See, I knew you were a jackass.

  • I don't think you are going to get banned, though your posts are unconventional and you come across slightly arrogrant. (Maybe you are different in person.)

P.S.S. As a parting gift/last request, please thumbs down this post as a personal favor to me.
This request has me stuck.  I don't give many down votes (You have to really upset me for me to down vote you.)  I like to help people with their requests.  To down vote or not to down vote?  That is the question. :jester:

  • Don't forget "Peeing in the pool". Maybe I should have used size 5 font for everything... I know you are only a little bit older than me, but poor eyesight can be genetic too...

Yeah, my eyes are horrible ... and years of computer programming have helped to wreck them.  I had 20-20 in the glory of my youth ... and more hair too.

  • Honestly, Johannes, I could never figure out if you were sedevacantist, or R&R, or conservative Novus Ordo, or whatever. I don't think you have done a good job at conveying what you believe about the crisis in the Church.

  • I really appreciated the play on words in the title, but I didn't see a place to vote for that option.  Maybe I missed it.  I'm old and I don't see very well.

  • It seems likely that Johannes is a retread, and has been banned before. So banning him wouldn't do any good.

His goal here seems to be to cause division. But if that's the case, it hasn't worked.

R&R and sedevacantists get along fairly well here. He hasn't been able to change that.

Is that the best you can do? You want to shock people, but the above is lame. And what Catholic would post something like that? Who are you, really?
