Did the SSPX district superiors make their priests be jabbed?
-
Definitely not.

Definitely not.
Not so sure about that myself. Or, to quote Fr. Schidberger (when I spoke to him about something decades ago): "I not so sure as you are." [I was making a case to him for an increased SSPX presence in Hungary, implicitly volunteering myself, a seminarian at the time, arguing that the people who live in the country are very traditional, very Catholic, and very simple people ... and thus ripe for conversion to Traditional Catholicism.]

Definitely not.
Why are you so sure?
Didn't the SSPX say parishioners can morally be jabbed?

.
Come on, Lad, you're not going to tell us that misspelling is an honest mistake, are you??! :laugh1:

I have to think this would have come out if they had done this, and become public knowledge. Since I never heard even any rumor of this happening, I think it's pretty safe to say that it didn't.

I would have liked taking credit for it having been intentional, but alas. :laugh1:

Well, I doubt it was some universal mandate ala Bergoglio, but I could see them insisting upon it, depending on the country they were in and whether they needed it to keep functioning, or to travel.

I spoke with a long time priest about it. He said he took one shot because the hospitals required it for him to visit, but he didn’t take any more.
When Bishop Fellay visited our chapel, he told a story about how they moved Archbishop Lefebvre’s remains during Covid, and how they got flack from the media from the media for having such a large crowd gathered. He said “but it was funny, no one got sick after. Imagine that”. Which made me think he was skeptical of the whole thing.

universal mandate ala Bergoglio
He required it of everyone in the 🇻🇦.

Right, that's what I was referring to by that comment.

No, the SSPX did not require priests to get the 💉. If so, then I two SSPX directly lied to me.

There are several anti-jаb SSPX priests who I can't imagine agreeing to it. So, no, I don't think SSPX district superiors "forced" it, unless they didn't bother about enforcement or repercussions. SSPX Austrian district superior Fr. Stefan Frey even wrote against it, and although he later retracted his statement (no doubt due to pressure from somewhere), it's hard to imagine him forcing it after writing that good anti-jаb statement. [Well, maybe not, given that he caved to the pressure to retract his statement ::) , but, still...]

No, as I said earlier, while there was no blanket policy, we can't rule out that SSPX "required" some priests to get it, depending on what they needed to do. Of course, the priest could just say no. It's not like SSPX could tie them down to get focibly jabbed. Two priests who didn't get it really doesn't answer the question. Since SSPX closed down chapels during the Plandemic, most of the priests in those situations didn't really need to get it, since they were on vacation anyway.

The two priests did not close down their chapels. One of them had multiple Masses rather than deny people access to the Sacraments. He was not on vacation! I don’t know details, but the other priest who refused has long been against vaccines, predating Covid.
