  • Hi all- I was just curious if anyone was into smoking meats or anything like that. I've got a ECB (El Cheapo Brinkmann) I got for abut 30 bucks at a liquidation place. Does me good. Best Tri-tip (a California cut if you're not familiar with it) ever. Also amazing ribs and stuff. I want to try salmon one of these days! :ready-to-eat:

  • I'd say I smoke my meat about half the time.

Yes it is. I'm telling you Tele- I got that smoker brand new from some liquidation place for 30 buckaroos! If you're on a budget, its a great way to make delicious food from less inexpensive cuts of meat(roasts etc)

salt, couple dashes of white pepper, some dried garlic, a splash of warchester sauce. That's pretty much it. Sorry.  :smirk:

Well I like variety, but we eat a lot of beef. Brisket would have to be my favorite... actually, scratch that... the bull's head has to be my favorite.

Actually the only place I can get it is at a restaurant.

My mom doesn't buy it anymore because my Anglocized-Austrian dad doesn't like it, just because it's the head and it looks gross in his opinion.

  • Ahhh... well most americanized (not in a bad way) people feel the same way. But I think the tide is turning for many Americans to experience different types of food. IMO
