Actually, head meat is quite good. I roast mine in the oven, and all the fat makes the meat really really tender and juicy. Once you've picked it off, then reheat it in the skillet with some salt and pepper...it's delicious.
Come on, it's just meat!
And depending on the quality of the breakfast sausage you eat (assuming you do), Lord only knows what you are eating. There's a reason they grind it up into something indiscernible. They can spice and season it so that you'd neither know nor care.
Last night (not to evoke Poche here
), I had Banquet meat loaf for dinner. It was a late evening and I was "eating on the run", no time for anything fancy. It is a mysterious mix of pork, beef, and chicken, but actually, with the seasonings and the gravy, it wasn't bad at all. Very often, my state in life right now requires me to nuke things in the microwave for protein and nutrition, and this was one of those nights. Got them for a dollar at the eponymous Dollar Tree. A better meal than much of the world's population has at night. And I did open a can of cranberry sauce to have with it. Far worse things to eat in this world. (And I have lived to tell about it today.)
