So, I've reflected on the Fall of Adam and Eve and have this perspective ...

Eve was persuaded by the serpent by the thought of becoming like God, where she was willing to risk death to take a chance at becoming a goddess.

Adam was pesuaded by ... evidence, where Eve had eaten the apple and yet, lo and behold, she had not died.

That's why the serpent went after Eve, because he could persuade her by the allurement of becoming a goddess ... and personal interaction and smoothe talking.

Adam saw that she had eaten and was still alive, and so he concluded based on that evidence that he would not die (though his logic was wrong, where he thought this mean that he would die immediately)

Eve ... ego, vanity
Adam ... evidence, but poor logic

Now, this part of the interaction is interesting.

Was Eve already experiencing the effects of the apple, the concupiscence, loss of control, etc. ... i.e. realized that it wasn't what it had been cracked up to be.  And yet she went ahead and persuaded Adam to try it anyway.  Why?  She didn't want to be alone, and was willing to take him down with her not to be alone, and although she must have already experienced the sensation of her own nakedness, she overcame the shame and shamelessly presented herself to Adam pretending that all was well, and even that she has some godlike abilities ... just to bring him down with her.
