Men can never be or experience personally what it is to be a woman.  The connection they have with the preternatural is profound.  Trust me I know.  Demons and Angels are whispering all the time.  It is only with True Catholic teaching and True Catholic Sacraments that you have the tools to learn how to discern spirits.

It is very sad what she did.  I think that she needs to be accountable some how.  I am not sure what is on the table.  I haven't followed the story.

Oh, garbage.  You're not animals.  You have rational souls created by God.  You are not forced to do anything on account of your hormones or emotions.  I'm not sure what "demons and angels whispering" you imagine all around you.  If you actually see them or think they're there, either 1) you're a mystic, in which case you're less likely to succuмb to suggestions to evil, or else 2) you do have some psycopathy.

There are psychiatric disorders that cause hallucinations, auditory and/or visual, but I doubt that's what you mean about demons and angels whispering to you all the time.

If you just mean the contant temptations to do evil, do you think that men are not also tempted to do evil?

So,  yes, it's very said what she did, more sad for her victims, but sad for her also because she committed grave evil.  YET she needs to be accountable for having made a free will decision to murder the children ... meaning capital punishment if it's available in her state.  Giving her anything less than the ultimate penalty is to devalue the lives she took and to at least partially condone her actions, and send a clear message to other women that if they snap against their children they are not considered anything other than fully accountable.

Don't you see that in your approach you're gravely disrespecting women?  Why is it that if a man had done this, there would be ZERO sympathy, and everyone to a person, especially the feminists defending this murderer ... would be demanding the death penalty for that wicked wicked man.  But, for women, it's sympathy because "muh emotions" and "muh feewings".  Bullcrap.  She knew what she was doing, had free will, and deliberately murdered the children.  Or are women just these animals who are not in any way responsible for their actions?  Or is it only that they are responsible and to be credited when they do good, but not responsible nor blamed when they do evil?  Both go together.  If you can't be held responsible for the evil, then you are not to be praised for the good ... since both are just low-level animal instincts driven by emotion.

While sending her off to the chair (or whatever), we grieve for the sin she committed, as we do for her soul, and we pray for her conversion, and sincerely beg God to have mercy on her soul.  But we do not excuse, condone, or minimize this in any way, shape or form.  AND ... we have the same attitude about a man, had he committed the same crime, insist that he pay for this crimes, but also that God have mercy in his soul also.

A) Men can never be or experience personally what it is to be a woman.

B) The connection they have with the preternatural is profound.

A) irrelevant.  Contrary is also true, and yet not a single woman would be out there defending any man who had committed these crimes.

B) What does this mean?  That all women are somehow these mystics?  I think you're conflating emotional and imagination with actual "connection ... withe the preternatural".

Yes, there are some women who are mystics, but then there are men also.  But there's no special connection to preternatural by virtue of being female other than the tendency to be more imaginative.

I'm convinced St. Monica is one of the most important saints in tradition for women to emulate. She is perfect proof that women have agency despite difficult circuмstances. Her husband was not the ideal spouse at all and yet she still held firm to her Catholic faith.

Some act as if women are purely responsive creatures. But to say to that means women have no intellect, free will, or ability to do God's will or Satan's will. She is essentially a lifeless entity. Why should we honor St. Monica if this is the case?

And I am waiting for the moment young single men admit they don't know what they don't know.

Killing innocent people is evil.  Propaganda and brain washing weaker people is evil.  Who is evil?  Demons.  How do we conquer evil?  With the True sacraments of the Catholic Church.  Where are those sacraments?  They are available through validly ordained priests, who are trying the best they can in this Crisis. +Thuc line and +Lefebvre line.  Maybe there are other lines  but these we know for sure.

Gray I feel so mean arguing with you so much, you're a normal sweet mom. It's just that come on now, I'm not the only one who says this, read over your three posts in this thread, do you really not see the glaring fallacies?

I guess you can see it as a non sequitur or just an opportunity to talk about different things since this is a forum, but if you very often get a variation on "what does that have to do with anything?" then it's probably you.

Anyone can be a mystic.  I think it is harder for men in general. They are not as sensitive.  It might have to do more with the temperaments.  From easiest to hardest to become a mystic melancholic, phlegmatic,  sanguine,  choleric.  I only say this because melancholics are perfectionists and melancholics and phlegmatics are introverts.

A few other points:

The spiritual is more important than the temporal.

Have we forgotten Pope Leo XIII, heard Jesus give the demons more power to destroy the world.  In doing this, what happened? Feminism.

Woman have a connection to creation by carrying a child in their womb.  Two souls in one body men never have this.

The other post I might address.  I just wanted to get this off my mind, so I can focus on other things.
