  • I've been using this recently and it's very good. Was wondering if anyone else uses it, how long you've used it, and what programs you use.

I'm using this portable program: https://code.google.com/p/mypomodoro/

The gist of this technique is that you're to work in 25-minute periods, separated by 5 minute breaks. After every four Pomodoro's (the term for 25 minutes) you take a longer 1/2 hour break.

If you're interrupted for an extended time during one of the Pomodoro's, then you don't count it.

The reason it's called the Pomodoro technique is because the Italian guy who invented it used a Pomodoro (Tomato) kitchen timer.

    Here's some more info: http://www.pomodorotechnique.com/

  • Strange! Why not work till you feel the need of a break?
Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,
Let it be what God has planned, His new Eden where You reign.

  • Because I'm bad, Nadir.

I need structure. Otherwise I exhaust myself and then everything goes whack.
