I can't speak about pillows (other than I prefer a very firm one) and I'm skeptical about any marketing hype that says "this pillow" or "that mattress" will fix whatever hurts.
Back when I was late 30's had a neck which would become very sore at time. I grew up in a family which didn't trust chiropractors, but finally went to see a college housemate who was one. He said I was orthopedically okay but gave me some neck (and back) exercises to do. The improvement was quick and astonishing.
I just searched for "neck exercises", and what came up was what the chiropractor had me do. That is well I would suggest you start.
