Been drinking food grade H202 from the health food store for close to 30 years to get my needed oxygen. Also the water at Lourdes has a large concentration of H202 which is what may prevent contamination from all the diseased who enter the waters. I know, you will say that Our Lady is doing the protecting there, and not the substance, but She chose the place where she knew there would be H202. So I'm not taking any credit away from Her.  :)

Never had any problems as long I used a diluted solution. Never, ever use the full 35% strength until you reduce it to a 3% solution (which is what the drug stores sell in the brown bottle for less than $1). A 12% food grade is also sold but it,too,must be reduced before consuming. I don't consume a 3% solution anyway, even that is too strong for the gut. Just put a few drops (5 to 6) of the 35% (that's what I regularly have on hand) into an eight oz. glass of water (iced tea size) and sip it on an empty stomach. And if you have bronchitis type problems, a cold, stuffed nose and sore throat, you can put some drops into a heated vaporizer and breathe the steam for relief and cure. I think a 3% solution in the steam vaporizer is too strong. But I do use the 3% for mouth wash and gargle everyday and more than once a day. No problems ever with that. In fact, as soon as you feel the strep throat symptoms coming on, you know, when the throat feels like you have bits of glass or needles in it when you swallow, just gargle like heck, as deeply as you can and even let a few drops slide down, and in a few hours it is as if there never was a problem. I never take antibiotics and haven't in 35 years b/c of H202. Just follow the book's instructions. The 35% never freezes but the 12% does. H202 loses about 1% of its strength every year in storage. So store the 35% in the freezer to keep it strong. But wherever you store this stuff make sure the little ones can't get hold of it. And mark the bottles well for the adults' safety. You don't want to play around with this stuff. One last thing, the drugstore stuff is really meant for topical application on the skin only, not for consumption, b/c it contains stabilizers and you don't want to ingest those. Hope this helps.
